QUEEN'S KITCHEN OOTTUPURA FORTKOCHI - Family restaurant in Kochi - Ernakulam, India

Location is on the main road. Tried the seafood thali and chatti chor. Both were amazing. So many different items together , and all have a unique taste , felt like cooked at home with extra care. The Masala was perfect on each dish. 10/10. Only problem is ambience.. Its not that great.

A small but clean restaurant, small cubicles seating arrangement ,can accommodate 25-30 customers at a time! Food is excellent ( Both quality and quantity), heaven for seafood lovers , We tried fried fish 5* ,prawns 5* with puttu fish curry the taste was heaven ! We met the owner Mr. Aashique a very warm and friendly person the way he attended the customers made us very comfortable ! Very affordable and mouthwatering food ! Thank you!

I'm disappointed that the food is just average in taste and does not live up to the number of good reviews. The service was below par too. When asked for a menu card, they did not have one, and the service was pushy, asking us to go for fish sadhya. I wanted to go for a normal meal with fish fry but was again pushed for ordering their special fish, sadhya. I finally relented and ordered one fish sadhya, which did not live up to the hype at Rs. 400 and normal meal, which was Rs. 80. Won't recommend this place.

Queen's Kitchen Oottupura - an unique dining experience. Niyas (owner) gives you a feel at home kind of experience with his hospitality. Ordered paalkappa and beef curry. Paalkappa was served in a big chatti. The portion size is sufficient for two. The kappa was well cooked and soft. The flavors of the spices added were just right, not making it too spicy. The beef too had an unique flavor. Its kind of a Fort Kochi special preparation. They specialize in seafood and have quite a variety of dishes available. You can also choose form a variety of fish and prawns kept marinated ready to be prepared on your order. A wide variety of puttu also available along with other regional foods like parotta, appam, idiappam. They also serve Chinese. I was asked to come again some time for lunch as they serve a special seafood meals with 20 different varieties - Thank you, Niyas! Would definitely visit again to try the seafood specialties. Oottupura Restaurant is near to fort kochi. The atmosphere was not bad the interior look like vintage style. One of the best restaurants in fort Cochin. So many variety dishes they are arranged for the customers. Seafood, beef , Chicken, Pallkappa , variety of steam cake. Mr. Ashik was so kind and customer friendly To spend your evening time with Oottupura . Highly recommended.

Very local and family run place. We had veg cauliflower and it was super tasty. Service was lovely and attentive.

I recently ordered the Sadhya (vegetarian) from your restaurant and wanted to share my honest feedback. While the presentation was commendable, I couldn't help but notice the absence of some quintessential elements of a traditional Kerala Sadhya. Key components such as parippu Kari, rasam, avial, ingipuli, and white moru curry were missing. Instead, the menu included pineapple pieces, fried cauliflower, cucumber, rice, papadam, sambar, vermicelli payasam, toran, curd, and achar. It would have been appreciated if there was transparency about the restaurant's expertise, particularly in vegetarian Sadhya. The absence of authentic elements, coupled with a price of Rs. 350 per veg Sadhya, left me with the impression that the experience did not truly align with the essence of a Sadhya. In conclusion, while the food was enjoyable, I feel it missed the mark in delivering an authentic Sadhya experience.

Food wise its ok but service also very good and customers service level the best i didn't like fish but whose love fish better place to visit
