QUARTO de CASA TIPRI - Bed & breakfast in Saligao - North Goa, India

This was my first ever homestay and I found it to be a heart-warming experience. Run by a pleasant and friendly nicolaus(host) Quarto isn't ostentatious but is hard-core homely. Every part of quarto screams out a homely atmosphere.Me and friend were staying at the superior which was modest, clean and decent. Everything seemed to be nice and homely including the room service. It felt like we were spending an all-paid-for-vacation at a relative's house. The hospitality and guidance provided by nicolaus (HOST).You feel like you are in your own house in Saligoa. Also its very near to beach where you can reach in 10 mins. About cleaniness , its very difficult to find anything negative about it. Room, Washroom everything was clean and the place offers excellent value for money. There is an balcony area same like which can be seen village where we can sit and relax at the centre of the house. Outside every room there is a table with chairs to relax. For smokers its a real plus as they can without polluting their room with smoke can enjoy . All details regarding transportation and places to visit at a very economical way with a proper planned manner utilizing the time efficiently are suggested by the host.

Beautiful location; quiet, rural, and immaculate. The grounds are welcoming and peaceful. The rooms are spotless, aesthetically pleasing, and the bathroom/shower was impeccably finished. Good pressure shower head and instant hot water. The staff were very nice, and friendly without being imposing at all. Nicholas, the owner is a kind and intelligent man with a great deal of local knowledge and the staff are extremely courteous Breakfast was lovely. Great location if you prefer the quiet, unobtrusive life style over the party atmosphere nearer to the beach. It isn't that far however, and mopeds can be rented from the guest house without hastle. Highly, highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at Quarto. The staff and host, will surely make your stay comfortable and homely. Host arranged a scooter and taxi for us and gave valuable suggestions in planning our day. The location is great and has peaceful surroundings. Staff is also helpful. I will definitely stay at Quarto on my next trip to Goa.

Very nice place, comfortable room with ac and nice big bathroom. The hosts were very helpful and we sympathized for a dinner. Both are cooks and we enjoyed the food as well. The location is well for moving quickly to many spots and having some rest in the nature when coming back... We would definitely come back ASAP!

Small place in a peaceful locality. The owners are quite cordial who own two cute dogs so if you are a dog lover do visit. Food is very delicious . Overall the place is living up to its name . The rooms are the best you can find at that rate and is a perfect destination if you are looking for peace

The location is a little hard to find without a gps, because it isn't on the main road. But it's a very convenient one. Right in the center of all the popular tourist attractions like baga and calangute. The room was neat and clean. And the massive washroom was a major plus. The host and his helpers were very welcoming. 4 stars because we were woken up at 10.45 AM and asked to vacate at 11 AM. In like fifteen minutes!! And this wasn't even informed to us the previous night when we checked in. So that was the most disappointing check out.

Quarto is one of those few places in Goa where you can experience the Goan Countryside at VALUE prices. The room was spacious and most importantly clean... Good Shower head and comfortable bed with soft towel. A distinct point of this home stay from other places is a non intrusive and relaxing interface with staff. We always endure to have good service with a minimal pinch on our pockets... Quarto de Casa Tipri is one place that meets this balance.

Good budget hotel. Owner Nicolaus is also good. Hotel is surrounded by paddy farms. Morning you will peacock sounds here. Peaceful place, no sounds of vehicles. Location is somewhat remote, you need bike or own vehicle to reach here. You can't go by bus. Airtel 4G will not work. All beaches are nearby around 4-5 kms. Finally it was a good stay at Quarto de Casa Tipri hotel :)
