Private Place . Defence facility. Tourist Not allowed . Rooms available . No kitchen . Will have to carry food . Boating only on special occasions . Parking is big . Be careful of wild animals in the night . Washrooms and freshening up facilities available. It's on the other side of pykara boat house which is open to public .

Great place for an overnight stay
Came back to this place after 2005... It just gets better and better. Coming from Alberta, Canada... calling this lake beautiful is an understatement. I'd add this place on the top of my list after Moraine Lake & Lake Louise.
Amazing place for a group getaway... the place doesn't have a kitchen... so make sure you get some food. It has a small functional kitchen but you have to cook yourself
Neat and clean lake. Good boating experience. No pedal operated boats. Play area for children. Snacks. Must visit lake in Ooty.
Such a good place to visit.The view point is very beautiful and also have high risk .Don't go with your children's there is no safety measures.we can see the whole masinagudi village from this area.
Really loved being in this place, a surreal experience of going in the lake boating surrounding by pine trees and greens. A must visit and highly recommended place.

The place is called the Shooting Range where many renowned movies were shot and till now it's a perfect place for the director to film many songs . We went on Sunday as usual. The place was a bit crowded. No pre-booking of tickets as it just cost 30
