Title: Decent Food, But Subpar Experience Rating: I recently dined at Puttum Kattanum restaurant and wanted to share my overall experience. While the food was good, there were a few areas that left much to be desired. Let's start with the positives: the food at Puttum Kattanum was enjoyable. The flavors were well-balanced, and I appreciated the quality of the ingredients used. The dishes I ordered were tasty and satisfying, which is the primary reason for my three-star rating. However, the ambiance of the restaurant was rather average. It lacked the charm or unique elements that could have elevated the dining experience. The decor seemed outdated and could benefit from some refreshing touches. It didn't detract significantly from the meal, but it didn't add any positive points either. One major downside was the lack of parking availability. It was inconvenient to struggle with finding a parking spot nearby, which added unnecessary hassle to the visit. It would be helpful if the restaurant could address this issue to enhance the overall customer experience. Unfortunately, my dining experience was dampened by an incident involving one of the staff members. While I was eating, an employee washed his hands and accidentally spilled water on the bowl I was using. Although I pointed out the mishap, the staff member left with a smile, which gave the impression that it was not taken seriously. This kind of behavior is disappointing and tarnishes the overall impression of the restaurant. In conclusion, Puttum Kattanum restaurant offers good food, but the overall experience fell short. The average ambiance and lack of parking options were notable drawbacks. Additionally, the incident with the staff member was handled poorly, leaving me with a negative impression. I hope the restaurant takes these points into consideration and works towards improving the overall customer experience in the future.

I forgot to review this place.. not able to recollect the name of dishes but still remember the taste. So with the limited memory of this place I am reviewing. Puttu is soft and served hot, chapati not a good option, beef omlet and nd beef and puttu was spicy just enough to make it good with tea. Open late night and easy to locate. I would recommend this place to foodies who are into puttu and spicy Kerala type beef preperation. Place is a bit congested. But then there is no delay in food preparation, so eat and gettt losttttttt in the cuisine...

Ambience was good. Trued beef omlette, that was tasty. Limited parking space.

Really enjoyed the food. Awesome, taste excellent service. Average hygiene. There is no parking space. No Ac. Small shop with good quality food and taste.

Such a great moment. Friendly restaurant with Puttu and Tea. Delicious, Tasty dishes. With hot tea. And the atmosphere was such a good vibe.

Tried Simple Chay and ratheesh aka pazhampori (banana fritter). It's really a nice place to sit back for some time

While we are returning home from Kollam, my friend put a story on Instagram asking which is the best spot on Alappuzha to have beef and this was the most suggested place. So without a second thought, we reached here. First of all, this is a small hotel and the seating and washing area is congested. As a thattukada this is normal. The ambience and the paintings on the walls are awesome. Coming to the food, we have ordered a variety of beef dishes and some chicken items along with puttu. Some of the beef items were good but others were average. Puttu was very soft and tasty. But if we say in overall it was a nice experience and enjoyed the food. Again thanks to all the people who gave suggestions to us. Above all of the food we had, our favourite was the mint tea. That is marvellous. It is one of the best tea I ever had.

I went their like 11.30pm everything was Good but porotta was not up to the mark...but fried rice was awesome...i like the way the owner behaves he is so friendly...and we didn't wait much for the food...if you r a road traveler and if you pass by this hotel do visit ...!!
