Puthenthodu beach is a small but pretty nice spot. The beach is crescent shaped and mostly a spot for the fishermen to land their boats (as there is a breach kept in the sea wall for the same). Swimming is not allowed on the beach, with a board mentioning that the sea is unpredictable and many lives have been lost here. However the beach seems pretty shallow and you can walk in the waters. Early morning, you can see the fishermen bringing in their catch. Evenings it is a great spot to see the sunset. There is enough parking space and also a small shop for drinks and snacks. Overall a great beach!
Beach is neat and less crowded when I last visited. The water is clean and the beach is like a crescent shape which is beautiful. It is place where you can relax and enjoy the sunset peacefully. There are no many options for food near by because there are not much restaurants nearby.
One of the beautiful and best beaches in kochi, I believe this beach is not familiar to everyone however its very beautiful small beach located at kannamali. There are plenty of parking spaces are available and the beach looks amazing and not crowded. Better place to enjoy with family and friends, there is a walk way located just few metres distance from the beach its amazing and good for peaceful long walks especially in the evening and morning hours. The beach itself looks beautiful and there are beautiful rocks places on the beach which looks wonderful.
A decent beach and less crowded too. The shore is not that lengthy but decent enough. Thanks to the lesser crowd and no eateries around the area and the beach is very clean. The road from the main road towards the beach is not good. Overall a decent place to spend your free hours.
Beach is so good and views are spectacular. Not so crowded when we visited. But dsnt have a good hotel or cafe nearby. Parking space for cars is limited.
Beautiful beach, very scenic. Because of its shape it is also called by the name "Half moon beach". The road leading to this beach is a disaster and two wheelers should take extra precautions if it is water logged. There are big "craters" in the roads and it will be filled with water. Very attractive view during sunrise and sunset. Very clean beach recommends for take a bath and enjoy.
One of my favourite places/beach in Kerala. Beautiful place to spend evening listening to wave sounds and watching Sunset. Nearest Bus Stand is 3-4 mins walk from here.
