*Best Place for people who love HEIGHT and SILENCE. *You can see whole RANCHI and Hills surrounding Ranchi *I have went there for more than 150 times but still havent got bored of this place *Its a TEMPLE so DON'T urinate or make place DIRTY!! *Road is good and safe for any kind of vehicle.

Nice place for hiking, adventure and sightseeing. There is Shiva Mandir at the top of mountain and there is very beautiful scenic view from the top.. You can se whole ranchi from there. Very amazing and calming breeze and environment . Avoid during thunderstorm ,rainy season and be always alert as poisonous snakes are very common.. they didn't harm you unless you do something to them.

It is also called kurtiyaaN phaadddh Kurthiya Pahad,near kanke bypass, 2.Permanent Campus Jharkhand Central University is situated here ,view is very attractive ,,,,,, 3.U can go to 10+ plus temple caves inside the mountain,,,,,,,Be carefull while climbing and downstairing..... 4. Idle time to visit 9:00 to 2:00 pm,,,,Come for Picnic/ Weekend before 4 pm..
