Purple Lotus Hotel - Hotel in Varanasi - Varanasi, India

Stayed here 5 nights. Location is good in an alley so you don't hear the honks. Staff is nice. There is a fridge and a kitchen you can use. Room was very tight and toilet even tighter. I don't think our room was worth what we pay but we were there on the busy days of dep deewali festival so i guess prices were higher because of that. I am very grateful with the staff who allow us to do late check out because I was sick and it helped me to rest.

A very good place to stay near Assi Ghat if clean rooms with clean washrooms are your main priority apart from other room amenities. The place is super clean and well maintained. However the room size is small and the bathroom size is smaller than '2m' in width. The room only has a good double bed and no other seating options. The A/C and smart tv was working fine and they do have a water filter available in the top floor kitchen. The place which goes for Rs 1250 on average when approached directly at the time is a good deal for anyone who is interested in a clean place near Assi Ghat. Other places like the main temple and important ghats are also easily accessible from this location via shared Autos/ Rickshaws which run throughout the day for an average of Rs 20 per person.

The worst hotel in Varansi. We came to Varansi for one night and could not get a room due to a mela and somehow got here. The staff are not friendly,the bathroom is bad,all the water used in bathroom comes back to room . No any hygiene . It's the worst. It shows the availiabilty of pool. Yes, your room will be like swimming pool after using washroom

Staff are really friendly, very welcoming and helpful! We felt very at home here! Nice walk to the river and close to coffee houses and shops! Would definitely recommend!

Terrible Experience. The only pro about the place is its vicinity to the Assi Ghat. We had issues after issues every single day. 1. The shower didn't work. 2. There was no window in the room, although depicted in the photos shown. 3. The AC would stop working suddenly. 4. They moved us in the middle of our stay to the 4th floor, without any intimation and a false reason given for AC repair. 5. When we asked for a bedsheet change, they gave us one with literal holes in it. 6. The new room had terrible water pressure, where it would take an hour to fill a bucket. 7. The phones in the room didn't work, so for any issues we had to walk down and up 4 floors to talk to someone.

The owner Santosh was very kind. He went out of his way to make sure everything was comfortable and convenient for us. The location is also nice, in the Assi Ghat area

The location is good near Assi Ghat. The room size is small and the service is average.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here and our stay was excellent, very clean, the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly and the staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Also the place is very close to ASHI GHAT and many markets. 100% recommended.
