Purnabramha Maharashtrian Restaurant - Featured Reviews (3629)
I visited the Marathi restaurant yesterday and opted for their thali. Overall, the experience was decent, but not exceptional. I would rate it a three out of five stars. One of the highlights of this restaurant was the friendly staff. They were attentive, welcoming, and eager to assist with any requests. Their service added a positive touch to the dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. It had a traditional and authentic Marathi feel, creating a comfortable atmosphere for diners. This aspect of the restaurant certainly contributed to the overall enjoyment of the meal. However, when it came to the main thali, it was a bit of a mixed bag. While some items were quite flavorful and true to the Marathi cuisine, others were somewhat lackluster, leaving the overall taste experience inconsistent. On a brighter note, the dessert was a true standout. It was not only good but also exceptionally tasty. The sweetness and flavors in the dessert balanced the meal perfectly, leaving a delightful impression. In summary, the restaurant offers a friendly and inviting environment with a staff that genuinely cares about the customer's experience. While the main thali had its ups and downs, the memorable dessert significantly improved the overall dining experience. A three-star rating reflects the overall average experience I had during my visit.
We had been to lunch today, the ambience was very nice, food was very tasty. We had Gajanan maharaj thali, items served as part of thali was very tasty, get a flavour of Maharashtra cousine.they have taken care of kids who can relish the food, by introducing bal gopal menu.
I visited this restaurant on Sunday and I had 'Sunday Shree Mahalaxmi Thali'. Food quality is really nice and very much authentic. Kothimbir wadi was delicious. Ukadiche modak was tasty but served cold. They follow traditional sitting arrangement which you rarely get to see nowadays. Appreciable. But the service was very poor. We generally expect that the Thali will get serve quickly but this isn't the case here. I had to wait literally 10-15 mins between each food serving. There were moments during meal when I was just sitting and looking at my plate waiting for them to bring the food.
You can find Proper Maharashtrian Food here, The Menu here is so vast consisting of nearly all Maharashtrian Veg items that you have ever known. Shrikhand Bhaji and Puri were amazing, The ambiance makes you feel like you're in Maharashtra which I really loved about this place, the staff is dressed in traditional costumes. Given all their good things, it's slightly costly as well but worth it.
Honestly the taste is not upto the mark .and the prices are not worth the quantity and quantity. Ambiance is quite good . Won't recommend this restaurant.
A bit costly but nice ambience and family friendly. There are different Thalis for different days and it's unlimited. North Indian people may not like some items in thali.Main course is ok ok.. but starters and desserts are best.
The authenticity about this place is the menu and the ambience. Once you get past that and the order arrives on the table, the food is nowhere close to what a true maharashtrian dish is. We ordered a misal pav which was overloaded with spice and chilli powder. Plus, the batat Vada was bang on average.
Good place to try authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. Pure vegetarian food is served.
Best place in Bangalore to try the authentic Misal Pav. The menu has only limited items, but it all tastes amazing. The service is good, but the ventilation of the place needs improvement.
First time I visited.... The food is out of world.. pure naati style... It's a must visit... Mr Naveen is very courteous.. God bless.. kudos to the team .. cheers
Highly recommend the chicken and fish thalis. Total value for money. Every item in the thali is delectable. Quantity is more than just enough. Ambience is the only downside, but for price they charge it is totally worth it.
Great place for tasty Maharashtrian dishes. Very humble setting. Spice alert : Misal, vada pav can make some people sweat ! Taste is still authentic, staff is helpful, hence highly recommended. As the place is off the road ,some extra precautions by
