Purity @ Lake Vembanad - Hotel in Muhamma - Alappuzha, India

Great place for a relaxing few days. Superb location and layout looking right over Lake Vembanad. Yoga and canoeing on the lake were particular highlights. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay wonderful.

Sujith and his staff were extremely welcoming and made sure our stay was perfect. The chef was very accommodating with our menu requests and the food was so fresh and delicious. The room was the most spacious we stayed in, luxurious and private. Loved the sunset canoe trip, the yoga location by the water and the refreshing cooler pool. Wish we stayed 3 or more days.

We had an incredible trip at purity and we're really well looked after by the whole staff team. Our stay coincided with my birthday and the team created an experience I will not forget. Amazing remote location on the lake, excellent rooms, good service and high quality food. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended hotel. Beautiful setting on the very peaceful lake Grounds are beautiful and we'll maintained including a very nice pool Rooms are large and spotless / clean. Styled to high end standard. Food is of the highest quality with a lot of thought and love gone into each meal. Activities are provided including yoga, backwaters tours and local site seeing. The local village is a very pleasant place for a walk. Staff are very attentive but relaxed and caring; special thank you to Sudjit, Mary and Chef for making our stay special.

We are glad that we chose this resort for our ladies only getaway. We felt safe and comfortable. The place was very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were courteous and helpful. The traditional Kerala food from Chef Sinaj was awesome. The ambience was very pleasing and relaxing. Would surely recommend this place to others and would love to revisit. A suggestion we have is that the resort could have an activity room to keep young children engaged. Thank you.

Purity is an amazing hotel run by a wonderful group of people. Sudjith (manager) ensured that we were treated like VIPs throughout our stay, perfectly balancing being both relaxed and attentive. The chef and waiting staff are some of the most talented and welcoming people that we have had the pleasure to be served by. Great early morning yoga is included and we paid extra for a very good value-for-money experience visiting backwaters, a farming family for lunch, a toddy shop, and impressive basilica.

We chose Purity as our wedding venue for our Arya Samaj ceremony and reception because we loved the location, the ambience and the food. We organised our wedding from abroad but the team at Purity were very attentive, were happy to be contacted about anything and attended virtual meetings in the run up to the wedding to organise everything. We came across some challenges in organisation but the manager Sujith was very helpful in overcoming these. On the day, the venue looked absolutely beautiful and the team helped run the events perfectly. The food was delicious and our guests had a wonderful time. They were able to work with our other events providers well- venue decoration, band, photography etc. When looking at venues we did consider larger resorts in the area but in the end we are so glad we went with the Purity team as they could offer the exclusive use and individual approach we desired.
