Puri Lighthouse - Tourist attraction in Puri - Puri, India

It's a very good place for a short visit. Every day remains open for visitors for 1 hour between 5 to 6 pm. Not very crowded. Very good view of sea shore from above.

This place is very near to puri sea beach and you can get a good view from the top of the lighthouse. Entry fee for Indian adults are INR 10 and 15-20 minutes are enough. Air pressure is too much on the top, so be careful. Overall it's worth to visit.

Many people go to Puri several time but I think one must visit this place atleast once and believe me you will not be disappointed. Entry fee is just rs. 10 per person and the timing is 4pm to 5 pm. The view of sea beach and the puri city is spectacular. You have to climb some stairs to reach the top of the light house. This place is just 1-2km from Swargadwar.

You can see the total 360 view of sorgodwar beach from the light house. Entry fee only Rs. 10 but there were no lift so you have to climb appros 100 stairs but you would not disappoints after reach the top beacuse the view will worth it.

Nothing great about the Lighthouse tower but the view of the beach from the top of this lighthouse is great. It opens for a short duration (1 hour, from 4 pm to 5 pm) and will cost your Rs. 10 for the entry. It is not very high so climbing the stairs would not be a problem. 10-15 minutes is more than enough to visit this Lighthouse.

Around 2.5 km from Swargadaar this place is away from crowd and relatively quiet. There are many hotels to stay around this place and few restaurants as well. Sea beach in front of lighthouse is less crowded. I think there's a provision to reach to the top of lighthouse with a nominal entry ticket . I missed it. Timing is 4-5pm only.

Wonderful view but very dangerous. I would highly recommend people to avoid the observation deck of this lighthouse especially if you have a kid with you. Go at your own risk because there is no safety grill installed in the observation deck.

It is a very nice destination for you if you are fit enough to climb stairs. I traveled there around 2019. There was no lift facility at that time. View from the top of the lighthouse is just awesome. You can see entire Puri town from bird's eye view. An wider view of the sea is possible from the top. It was an amazing experience. They allow photography with some extra amount, mobile photography is free of cost but camera photography is chargeable.
