We spent three days in Puri. The main purpose of visit is of course Jagannath Temple with that Puri beach is also main tourist atteaction in Puri. The beach is very long and there are so many restaurants, hotels and Shopping centres along with the beach. Also you will get so many food stalls, shopping stalls, across the roadside and beach side. You have choices to enjoy your time on beach, food options, shopping options.

The place is good..but the people there is not very friendly at all. Not only this beach area....I faced many difficulties as a tourist every where I go during this trip. People are less helpful if are not talking in native language, very rude ( don't know why). If planning to visit there...will suggest to avoid the interaction with the local ones.

Awesome market, all sea food available at an affordable price. There are many things for shopping and you can enjoy many sweet dishes here local people are selling it. Camel ki sawari b kar sakte hai. Bahut sari local dish b kha skte h.

Puri is a good place to spend 2 to 3 days holiday. You can take train, bus from Kolkata. It takes you 8 to 9 hours to reach. You can visit Puri in the rainy season and in winter. But where to roam in summer time is a bit difficult. And you spent your evening by the sea.Thank you

Great place to hang out, little bit dirty however no issues in the name of Jagannath. One must buy all the traditional items from the beach.
