Place is very nice to visit. Reaching there is a bit struggle. But worth it once you reach there. Had a great time with my family.

It is a small check dam which is Just 15 kms from Shivamogga.. Dam is within the Shettihalli Wildlife Sanctuary. Drive through the forest makes us refreshed. Since nobody is there to look after the area, parking facility is not available. Its better to park on the main road itself and better walk 100 mts to the spot. Good place to spend an hour - preferably in the evening for a change..
Great place to hangout....and less crowd
Gone there for cycling early morning. Amazing place with frequently spotted wildlife like fox and wild boar
Near to Shimoga is the best part, situated within Shettihalli Wildlife Sanctuary, nice place to visit to spend few hours
