Punnamadakkaran Lake Shore Villas - Home Stay in Alappuzha - Alappuzha, India

We stayed here for two days and it was a pleasant experience. The rooms have all the basic amenities that are needed for a comfortable stay. The team organised the required tours and taxis for us without any hassle. The location is also very close to water with a nice view of houseboats passing by.

On the whole, the experience was very pleasant. The room was neat and compact. Particularly, Deekshan sir and his crew was very warm and welcoming. The chef cooked customised delicious dishes and the captain was very friendly and engaging. We'll visit again and highly recommend it to others.

It was our blessings to find this resort at last minute. Got a best sunrise view. The owner, Dixon sir very considerate from beginning. He helped us on how to commute from Coimbatore to Alleppey. Even came to pick us up from bus station at midnight hours. Room were clean and tidy. We will always be grateful to you sir Thank you for the best experience. Will surely visit again.

Exceptional good service, the host helped us with everything we needed and was taking care all of the time. Also helping us with any ozher bookings. Property is near the water, great view and boat trips are available just if you walk outside. Beautiful landscape all around, also comperably silent. Bed is comfortable and you can sleep well with A/C and Vents. Better than any expensive hotel in regards of care and service quality!

We stayed one day only and really its amazing experience especially the caring of Mr.Dixon , (Manager cum owner) he is so friendly with us like a family member. Rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean also location is so amazing and nostalgic feelings in limited budged.we are 100% satisfy to choose this place. Thank u very much Mr Dixon

I got this when I was looking for better rate for stay & House Boat in the Internet. I sent an email , immediatly I got response from Dixon and he arranged for House Boat also. the Villa is very neat and compact . Though the approch road is very narrow and not so comfortable) finally you will end up in a very nice place for viewing also. You will start enjoying it the more time you stay .Dixon follow up was very good and very personalised serive (you will feel like your are staying in your relativs's place) , the food (Good Vegetarian) and services during the saty was very good. Dixon arranged good auto for temple visits like Mullakal Bhagavathy & Ambalapuzha Krishnan. Regarding House Boat , Though it may be a little old Boat, the trip was fantastic because of the Crew , the Captian (very nice and Courteous) and the Cook (Excellent Vegetarian Food) the night stay in Boat (even though it was a remote place surrounded by water) is worth and terrific experiance) Certainly I will visit again (May be I will ask for a better new boat) to this place. Thanks to Dixon We a family of four really enjoyed the trip .

We found this place last minute after finding the boat house uncomfortable to stay. The rooms here were great, worth the money, very clean, partial lake view and well maintained. The owner of the place is down to earth and provided us good homely food. Must try out!
