My 1st visit, but it was just exceptional when you check their rates for every item. Rates take you at least 15-20 years back in time, without any compromise on quality or quantity. Plus, the owner is very down to earth who simply cares for his old customers. No doubt they are still in business after 60+ years.

Glad nothing has changed, as we used to hop across during lunch for their seasonal veg-of-the day.. be it their baingan-bartha or karela-pyaaz, accompained with dal fry, chapatis, a side dish of ragda pattice, finaly to be washed down with their creamy timeless Lassi!!!
Infact this place is soo well known for lassi that patrons crowd outside this foodie haven just for a quick cooler before merging in the constant energy field known as 'aamchi mumbai'

It was a neat clean Punjabi vibes place in the heart of Mumbai. The staff was cordial, preparations were tasty and seemed to be hygienic. They have a lot of famous punjabi food items on the menu along with some dairy products and sweets.

Old and traditional place. Same wooden sitting arrangements year after year. Famous for its samosa, kachori and gulab jamuns. It serves lunch too. But lunch menu is limited and lunch dishes are so so in taste. Sweet items are good.
Ok kind of place. I have some legacy food from North India. Sales are brisk but overall this place needs a lot of care and maintenance because if you are making people sit and eat, you cannot convert the sitting area into a storage, atleast not in Mumbai.
Worthless... The samosas they served were stale and giving bad odour. Found the restaurant very unhygienic.
