I recently had the pleasure of dining at Punjabi Dhaba, which is in the center of Mangalore city. My experience at this dhaba impressed me, and I can't wait to share the highlights. for people who visit Mangalore, a destination predominantly known for its temples, I found this restaurant to be a welcoming haven for those seeking delicious and wholesome vegetarian meals. The ambience is great and the service was good. These are only the good part of the lunch we had here. We tried Paneer Lassoni as starter, butter roti with Kaju masala and Paneer do pyaaza. Paneer lasooni was presented really well, but taste was too pale, paneer were over burnt and spice was missing. Kaju masala , paneer do pyaaza were also very bland. More suited for kid's taste.

Upon ordering the cauliflower potato dry dish here, I found myself grappling with a sense of betrayal. My anticipation was met with a disconcerting revelation; the dish, ostensibly centered on cauliflower and potato, appeared to be an orchestration of flavors dominated by a formidable ensemble of onions. Indeed, the 80% onion-to-cauliflower-and-potato ratio was a discordant note in what should have been a harmonious composition. Regrettably, the overall experience left much to be desired. The muted presence of cauliflower and potato was overshadowed by the overwhelming onion medley, casting a pall over the dish's potential. The subtleties and textures that could have arisen from a well-balanced combination were, alas, sacrificed in the pursuit of a less satisfying outcome. It is my sincere hope that this restaurant endeavors to refine its craft to nail a simple of dishes to honor the primary ingredients that beckon to diners.

Out of 3 items ordered Malai Lassi was my favorite. (Thick and almond pieces for xtra crunching) Deconstructed falooda felt overhyped dessert. Paneer stuffed paratta was average Good ambience and enogh amount of parking

Loved their food and ambience! Very good place to have delicious vegetarian food. Out of the things we ordered, spring roll was a disappointment as it did not have anything other than cabbage. Everything else tasted very good. Service is quick, prices are reasonable.

Taste and quality of food was very good. Quick and friendly service. Ambience is good. Parking space is available at the basement.

Food was ok ........not that authentic punjabi food , gulab jamun was pathetic , it felt like im having sweet dahi wada , should give more punjabi touch in food ...rather than ambeiance
