Punjabi Dhaba - Vegetarian restaurant in Tiruchirappalli, Thiruverumbur - Tiruchirappalli, India

Ambiance was good. instead of table and chair the sitting was so comfortable. But too noisy when entered into the hotel till we came out.. the lady may be ownr who was there shouting. Can't able to eat peacefully. When comes to the food it was so good.. taste wise , look wise and quantity compared to other hotels... Must try their mushroom manjurian..

Worst ever food. Earlier the food tasted authentic, but now food tastes horrible. The food and ambience is not even worth the hefty money they charge.I think it's better to rename their restaurant, as the food they serve is an insult to punjabi cuisine. The most pathetic thing is that, they are serving 'ready to eat soups', disguised as homemade one. This restaurant is now a total disappointment. In fact this restaurant is not even worth a single star rating.

Oke fine.. vegetarian is good..but non veg is bad

The food tasted really good, although I do not know if it's 100% authentic punjabi. I liked it since it suits my buds. I got my food served quick since there was not much of a crowd, but the service with regards to taking orders was very bad. Even though there were 4-5 staff around (all seeming to be from the same family), nobody tended to our needs. The ambience was simple and good with dhaba-style seating with a modern twist to it. A better service through professional servers would make this a great place.

Here we get good biryani exactly where i used to eat in Hyderabad. This is more than the satisfaction of biryani, bacoz we are in Tamil Nadu

This place used to serve nice and good authentic north Indian food, but from past week they are preparing food like we have in our Mess ( NIT Trichy), and apart from that they can't handle a total crowd of 20 people.. Ridiculously bad service and horrible taste and also they serve you wrong order . Make sure u tally atleast 2-3 times..

They don't wash spoons, plates properly. Food was good except paratha(aloo,paneer,gobhi)

Punjabi Dhaba Thiruverumbur ( mixed experience ) ... after getting info about this place in facebook groups visited here with lots of expectations ... this is a small restaurant with Dhaba like seatings arrangements ..( artificially created Dhaba like set up ..) this is right on the main road , just opposite to Bharat Petroleum which is next to Erumbeeswarar Temple ... Ok ..coming to this restaurant ....they have meals varieties ... One is Punjabi thali and another one is Rajasthani Thali .. both Rs 299 ...i skipped it ... .. Went through menu card .... first thing attracted me was the Paratha items ..i confirmed from the staff , that they made of wheat ( atta ) ....asked for one masala Paratha ..they offered the Paratha with Curd and lovely spicy pickle chutney..... it was wonderful .... so i was satisfied ... then my next favourite stuff in the menu was jeera rice ..... jeera rice generally used to be dry side ...but it does not mean it's too dry ...today i got disappointed here to find the rice being a bit raw ( Kachcha ) ... then the masala in today's ghee rice was high .....Jeera rice should have lessor masala ....One plate Jeera rice Rs 89 .... no GST ... then went for the panneer butter masala .... you might think this a weird combo ,....basically i was trying to taste the panneer butter masala ....though the panneer pieces were very soft , the overall taste was missing ....I had lived in Amritsar for five long years ...i know the typical panneer butter masala ....i think , here , they have tried to modify the masala taste to suit our South Indian tongue .. ... It was for Rs 129 ... if i comment on price factor , some of the Google members here could get angry ...ok no issue ....for this type of above average small restaurant , i find the price on higher side ... i asked the price of lassi ...i was informed sweet lassi cost Rs 59 ...i skipped it overall price for a single person ( me ) came to 267 ... they were not keen to give the bill ...i insisted to give them the bill ....i was given both manual as well as electronic bill .. Just one more North Indian restaurant for trichy now ... as per my chats , they have been in Trichy food industry , since a long time ....i was informed they were operating Punjabi Rasoi in kattur ,parcel only service ...now only they have started dine in service here ... even now they continue to have tie up with Swiggy etc .. may be i will revisit this restaurant for their Thali meals ... may be mean , only after a long time ...
