A very old temple which is famous for its mural paintings. The temple is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India.
A silent, calm, nice temple of Lord Mahavishnu. Other deities are Satyabhama, Garuda, Subramanya, and Sarpas. The temple is famous for its ancient mural paintings, which is preserving by the Archiological Department of India. The temple is not crowded on normal days so that one can pray with the highest concentration without any disturbance. Thiruvonam, Ayillyam, and Shashti are auspicious days here.
Temple with Krishna, Satyabhama & Garuda as Main Deity. The Temple currently maintained by the archeological Deptartment is a well preserved architectural beauty with mural paintings and scenic visions and Old Construction models.
The serene atmosphere and dedicated priest of this ancient temple along with original Mural paintings make this a good place to visit. Worshippers will surely get great satisfaction in viewing the unique idol of Lord Krishna sitting on Pakshiraja with Sathyabhama on tge Lord's lap after Narakasura vadham. Outside the sanctum sanctorum, the serpent gods are seated along with Pakshiraja Garuda. The temple manages all the 27 star trees for the visitors. The ancient pond is architecturally astonishing. May the Lord bless you to be there and enjoy the bliss...
Pundareekapuram is a small Vishu temple atop a little rise called Midayikunnam near thalayolaparambu in kottyam. The murals on the walls of sanctum sanctorum are believed to have belonged to the late 16th century
Enchanting. Calm and seducing atmosphere. This temple is protected by Archeological Survey of India. The paintings and carvings are centuries old. Idol here is "Mahavishnu sitting on Garuda with Lakshmi Devi on the left thigh of Bhagavan" Worth visiting.
Quiet, calm and serene atmosphere. If you are driving via the easy route, there are some steep steps, but that can be avoided by taking a narrow road leading to the side entrance, but not really much space to park 4 wheelers. Helpful priest and other staff / fellow worshippers. Lovely place.
Beautiful temple especially famous for carvings and paintings in and around this small temple. It is very powerful and must visit temple for Hindus.
