Pumposh(Kashmiri Shawl Emporium) A very nice store in Kolkata for buying Kashmiri Shawl,Salwar Suits(2 piece and 3 piece both),Stoles,Jackets,Trunks and other wooden pieces.They also have carpets for sale too. The staffs were very friendly and gave us time to choose what is the best we want for us by showing many collections. They have a great collection in store with authentic Kashmiri weaving. The prices are very much reasonable too and choosing in between such a huge range is very hard but it was quite an experience.

Had a wonderful experience shopping at Pamposh. The shop had a great collection of exquisite Kashmiri shawls at reasonable prices. Mr. Kaiser attended us and he was an extremely kind and patient gentleman. He probably showed us 100+ varieties with a lot of patience and was a very wonderful gentleman. I went to buy 2 shawls and ended up purchasing 12! I am super happy with my purchase and would definitely come back again. The Shop is spacious, they have a large variety and price offerings and a very capable staff.

The place is easy to locate . Prices can be manipulated highly. As what they quote and what they have in stickers are way apart. Went with my mom for a good shawl. Ok no doubt they have good variety of products but the approach of selling wasn't appealing, it was like he is just showing with no interest. If we asked him questions then he was getting annoyed. I lately asked him about any defects if arose later he said check now only if later u misshandle and bring it we won't be liable. So overall not so peaceful experience. I brought one shawl as colour was nice. And bargaining he didn't entertained as they said but this I highly doubt.

Whenever I need a shawl, Pumposh is my go to. They have an extensive collection of shawls. Every shawl that I own has almost always been from Pumposh. The staff is very friendly and always takes a lot of time and care to show the collection to you. Definitely recommend Pumposh for anyone who's on the lookout for authentic Kashmiri shawls

Place was just average. I felt they were costly. They didn't have much options though in cardigans. Also the service was not great like they were reluctant to show which made me a little agitated to buy.

Excellent quality and service. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back during my next stay in Kolkata.

I had a great experience here. Kaiser explained us the actual difference between differently priced shawls. He also gave us great price on some shawls we liked. He earned himself a new permanent customer that day!
