Pulla Veli falls can be reached via a short trek from the Thandikudi main road. You can also drive your vehicle till the point where you reach a bridge and walk from there. The falls itself is very difficult to access from this location. Even if you were to climb down to the base of the falls, it is strongly recommended not to take bath if you don't know swimming and when the water force is high. There is a deep gorge just beyond the base of the falls which will surely be fatal if you slip. There is a broken rope bridge which is not in a usable state currently. This was supposed to lead to the other side of the falls but we didn't want to risk it. There is a small stream which leads to the falls where you can take some pics. Beware of leeches.
Terrible falls. Every year this falls records human death. After a half km walk in the slope you reach the damage wooden bridge. And continue on the right side with hard rocky surfaces you will get down near the falls. After that don't try to get down to the second bed of the falls. Rocks are Slipery and dangerous to bath. No facilities is here. This place is suitable for youngsters and not for families.
Very risky, hanging bridge was broken. But best weekend water falls to enjoy with friends. Government should post some danger boards to warn the visitors .

Amazing location for nature and adventure lovers. Has a gushing stream with a suspension bridge on it... Beautiful location for photographs and to spend a good half day with friends or family. The actual water fall is not easily visible. We need to trek down a risky path to see the actual fall. Flow of water is the stream is very strong-not recommended to get into the water near the fall.
An offbeat picnic spot on the way to Thaandikudi. Since it is not frequented by many tourists there is a high probability that one might have a chance to enjoy the whole scenery privately during weekdays. It's safe to take a bath in the upstream river the water is shallow but do ensure the depth before stepping in. The path that leads to the waterfall is quite steep and unsafe ,the risk is not worth taking imo. One has to walk a few hundred meters from the main road to reach the spot, the path is rugged and uneven so don't risk driving the car. It's not recommended to visit alone as a couple.
