This is important pilgrimage for Hindu religion. The divine city Vindhyachal is exactly on the banks of river Ganges, and strategically located exactly between two highly divine Hindu cities Prayag (Allahabad) and Kashi (Varanasi). Holy dip in the river Ganges before the darshan of divine deity is much needed and spiritual. The boat are plying and taking the pilgrims to other bank which is less crowded and much clean. The boat charges to and fro is rs 200. There is camel ride available which can be attraction for kids. Every day, a large number of people visit the temple. We can see a regular crowd of the public almost every day . Lot of people will perform auspicious ceremony in the temple campus like mundan ceremony. Dedicated to Goddess Yogmaya, sister of Lord Krishna this temple is situated on the banks of Ganga Ji in vindhayachal Visit early in the morning for less crowds because after 8-9 pm the rush increases a lot for darshan You can go for a simple darshan by waiting in the queue or opt for VIP darshan ( by panda ) Normally it takes up to 30 mins for darshan in the morning and in evenings the time taken can be up to 1 hour so plan accordingly You must visit it in your life to see the great temple The government has undertaken an initiative to develop The Vindhyavasini Corridor which is expected to be completed by the end of 2023 It will hopefully be convenient for all of us visiting the temple and even the.locals

Maa Vindhyavasini temple is dedicated to Goddess Yogmaya, sister of Lord Krishna this temple is situated on the banks of Ganga Ji . Temple coridor is under construction. Maa Asthabhuja temple is nearly 2 km. Parking facilities is not available for two wheelers. Ganga ghat is nearly 200 m away from the mandir. This place of worship has been turned into a business hub run by Pandaas which takes money for unofficial vip Darshan entry (no receipt) and they stop the normal queue to let the person who paid Money to pass and get to see the goddess early. They force people to pay money. Even inside the temple the pujari ask for money open handed. All the employees staff pandits everyone is greedy for money here. If you don't pay them and take the normal queue be ready to wait longer than usual for Darshan. Even the police are helpless they say its the system now..run by pandits committee (and children are also earning money same way)
