Public Park - Park in Mailani Range - Nainital, India

The Kosi Bairaaj Dam is about 1.5 km by walking however you also get auto for the dam and the charge is about 10 Rs. It's park which is situated near Kosi dam inside park there are many seating for the visitors and some visitors offers food for the fish in water, the dam is in poor condition.

Awesome place to hangout with family and friends. Could see only 1 elephant and some deer. No tiger found.

This park is not far from Ramnagar main town. It is just 1km from lakhanpur chungi or Central Information and Reservation center of forest department. It can be a good spot for watching birds especially Crested Kingfisher. You may also get Pied Kingfisher, drongo, swallows, brahmini duck, little cormorant near this point. The road leading to park is very narrow as it is located on sluice gates so one needs to be careful.

It is on the dam at Ramnagar, Nainital. Various types of Birds can be seen here. Different types & sizes of shoal of fish must entertaining to all of us.

Starting my review from the cleanliness of the park which is up to the mark park is quite and beautiful opening time and closing time of the park is a bit messed up the biggest problem in the park is there is no toilet also sometimes drinking water can create a problem because sometimes the water over and there is no water to drink.On a scale of 0 to 10 I would rate it 7. But i suggest everyone to visit because the location of the park is on point.
