His questioning was thorough but gentle and respectful at all times. Additionally he dimmed a particularly bright light in his office when I was telling him about my sensory issues which I found very thoughtful. Diagnosis: He really knows his stuff because he identified the possible issue, ADHD, with accuracy and conducted a comprehensive assessment which confirmed it. Treatment: He presented treatment options with neutrality and objectivity, allowing me to make an informed decision. I was a little wary about medication but I felt confident to make an informed choice with the information on the meds he shared with me and his patient responses to all my questions. I also appreciated his approach of not priming me to experience the medicine in a certain way (he told me the basic information about side effects and answered my questions, of course). Instead, he let me make the informed decision to take meds myself and let me experience the medication and draw my own conclusions. I also liked that he emphasised medicine in combination with lifestyle changes as a way to manage my condition. Inclusivity: I felt like he would be a safe doctor for queer individuals. Conclusion and Recommendation: Treatment for my issue has only just started but I am feeling hopeful and positive about things. I am grateful to Dr. Krishna and I absolutely recommend him to anyone seeking compassionate and effective psychiatric care.
