THE BEST ONE
Very academic forward college in KERALA. Very famous in students achievements. Most of the faculties have p. hd. and very well digital library here. and every infrastructure facility is very well. A good environment and surroundings.
PSMO College is a reputed higher education institution in Malabar. It's a Govt. Aided college run by Tirurangadi orphanage committee. It offers various UG & PG courses. There is research centres in Commerce, Chemistry, History & Zoology.
It is a nice place. We can enter to college by car or bike. Water available but no public toilet for outsiders. There is a big Masjid inside the campus. IGNOU Study Center is located left side of the entrance.
One of the tradition keeping college in Malappuram.. it is management college under TIRURANGADI ORPHANAGE COMMITTEE,wonderful atmosphere with taking strong actions,a building for library, auditorium, canteen, NCC etc are the features
PSMOC has improved by leaps and bounds. When I first visited the college back in 2006, it was a dry place with some unattractive buildings here and there. But now the looks have completely transformed. New buildings, new furniture, good facilities, dedicated staff, disciplined students.. PSMOC has a long way to go. Hats off to the efforts!!

The college was established in 1968 as a government-aided junior college affiliated to the University of Kerala. In the same year, it was re-affiliated to the University of Calicut after the reorganization of the university.
It was upgraded as a first grade college in 1972 and a Post Graduate College in 1980. Twelve degree courses and seven post graduate courses are offered at the college catering to the higher education needs of around 1800 students.
The college was mainly intended for the educational progress of the orphans of the Muslim community but it also fulfills the educational aspirations of students from all communities.
One of the leading institutions in Malabar for higher education. Its academic culture and facilities attract meritorious students. The college is known for its secular and democratic approaches. Proud to be an alumnus of PSMO.
