I had an awful time, first because of the room 309 which was stinking of a dead rat before they moved me to another room 310 in which cockroaches, worms and lizards greeted me. The housekeeping staff are not trained, forgot to do their job at one go and and made a lot of noise. The footmats and carpets were filthy and the front desk guy completely unresponsive to any request or suggestion. Finally I got the manager to listen and he then wanted to move me to a better room the evening before I was leaving. I shall never go back there. The only thing good about prism is the location and the very friendly and helpful bell boys at the ground floor.

This should be called a lodge.Spiders are there in washroom.The toilet seat is filthy.They did not clean the room until and unless I shouted.Even there is no hot water in the tap. After all I highly discourage all to avoid this hotel.

Disgusting experience. After receiving my PNR number, I get a call from the hotel saying they are transferring my stay to another hotel (with much lower rent than what we already paid) because apparently Prism no longer had rooms available! They overbooked (insisting it as a technical issue) and they won't refund the money nor were they willing/able to accommodate us. When we called the hotel informing them that we would file a consumer complaint for such misdealings, they immediately relented and promised us a room. We thought the problem was solved until we reached the hotel. We were allotted Room 410 (an employee informed that it's the most congested and infrequently used room) and it has to be the worst hotel experience we're ever had. They didn't even provide us a dustbin in the bathroom, there was no bathroom doormat and water was all over the cramped room floor, we called house keeping so many times but there wasn't a single time when they picked up. Plus, the 'employee only' room right next to our room would constantly give out smell of cigarette smoke and our room would be full of it! When I called room service to request tissues (because other channels on the intercom don't respond) they picked up and asked me to come down to the restaurant and get it myself! (I never got any tissues btw). At the time of checkout, the person at the reception even went as far as to say that since ours was a "third party booking, the hotel does not receive the money we paid - which is why we had to be given such a sub-par room" (and sub-par hospitality I guess) and encouraged us to book directly with the hotel for future bookings. If that's the case, why list the hotel then? Overall totally disgusted with the whole experience, I'm never going there again.

We visited the restaurant for the first time and with a toddler the staff is quite friendly and helpful. With complimentary drinks for my toddler and snacks. We enjoyed the food and the ambience too. Pleasant experience.

Hotel is good and its location is usp. Restaurant is also good for dining. Services are good. You can't find hotel better than this in Jorhat. However there is no airport pick up and drop facility available. Laundry service is not good in terms of clothes delivery. In room dining is good.

Neat and clean and spacious rooms. Good food and cordial service team. Good location and sufficient underground parking space.
