Swaminayan khichadi is famous here. It has little bit of sweet taste. 40 Rs without Kadhi. 50 Rs with Kadhi. Mind you one 40 Rs box may not be sufficient for one hungry stomach.

This food joint belong to Swami Narayan trust. When I visited there were lot of intern doctors at that canteen. It is a 100% veg restaurant. The food is of great quality and seemed most hygienic. The rates for food is unbelievably low, obviously is been subsidised by the trust. It's a self service restaurant and very clean. There is no table service ans one has to collect food items themselves after paying and collecting the coupons.dal Khichdi and kadi is a MUST have at this place.
The worst thing is samosas, puff , pizza. they don't serve it fresh. the only fresh n good things r chole batore and kadi khichdi. Every thing else is not taken care off. samosas and puff are almost 2-3 days old they serve.

I think this place needs no reviews!! It's one of the best places of Ahmedabad with tons of variety. Their vada pav is to die for!! Most of the food items are sold out by late evening, so try to visit during the day. Loved the food, must try!
