Beautiful place, surrounded by nature. The place have walking tracks and big sitting area. Toilet and drinking water available. Good place for exercise. Various medicinal plants are planted here.

Nature vibe is awesome and the surrounding area is so wide that you can walk and jog easily in fresh atmosphere

Part of the Umarsara Forest range located on the outskirts of Yavatmal......though no more on the outskirts...! Still maintained in its natural form more or less. Set your morning run or brisk walk along the dusty red track of approx 1.7 kms winding sometimes uphill and downhill. Takes real breath out of you after third round....! Good for mornings....5.30am--8.30 am though it is open in the evening from 4-6 pm( as of Jan 2021) Lots of aspiring runners and police training academies are conducting workouts in groups. Natural pond along the fencing is a bird watching feast. Good place to stimulate the physical activity amongst the kids. Yoga is practised in various groups (3-4) as of Jan 2021. Not sure how it might look after completion of some construction activity which is ongoing. Pledge of planting 10000 trees of which I was told 3000 being already planted and nurtured. To sum up.......Excellent Place, Free Entry, Lots of Physical Activity, Rejuvenating Air, Calming flowing water sound of the side Pond and Good Company in Nature will relax you. Proud place for a Yavatmal native.

The area is on Nilona Dam road and is under forest department. Good place, dense trees and well maintained. Should visit once.
