Om Sai Ram
If one is travelling from Banglore towards Hydrabad after almost 100 kms towards Hydrabad, the signage takes one to this magnificent temple & Samadi Palace of SatSaiBaba Ji. After covering 45 kms of neatly mettled road one reaches SatSai District as it's called. With multi floral natural decoration on both sides of the road it's a very serene & peaceful temple Ashrama. For rupees 15 & rupees two one can have a full meal with tea. The temple has a huge number of volunteers to guide the new entrants. One can also book a stay within the temple premises. During noon the main shrine remains closed and only opens in afternoon. So one needs to plan accordingly. If one is later headed to Hydrabad there is an alternate shorter route via Anantpur.
The ashram is home to a number of religious and spiritual buildings, including the Prasanthi Nilayam Mandir, a large temple that is the site of daily prayers and meditations. There are also a number of educational institutions, hospitals, and other charitable organizations located on the ashram grounds.
The atmosphere at the ashram is one of peace and tranquility. Visitors are encouraged to dress in simple clothing and to refrain from speaking loudly or using foul language. The ashram is a place where people can come to relax and reflect, and to seek spiritual guidance.
Here are some of the things you can do at the Sathya Sai Baba Puttaparthi Ashram:
Attend a prayer service or meditation session at the Prasanthi Nilayam Mandir.
Visit the Sathya Sai Museum, which exhibits artifacts and memorabilia related to Sathya Sai Baba's life and teachings.
Take a walk through the ashram gardens, which are home to a variety of plants and flowers.
Visit the ashram's hospitals or schools, which provide free medical care and education to the local community.
Participate in one of the ashram's many spiritual workshops or programs.
The Sathya Sai Baba Puttaparthi Ashram is a beautiful and peaceful place that offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience Indian spirituality. Whether you are a devout follower of Sathya Sai Baba or simply curious about his teachings, the ashram is a place where you can come to relax, reflect, and find inner peace.
Here are some of the pros and cons of visiting the Sathya Sai Baba Puttaparthi Ashram:
Pros:
The peaceful and tranquil atmosphere
Rich spiritual history and tradition
Wide variety of activities and events
Affordable accommodations and food
Welcoming and friendly staff

Large crowds during peak season
Strict dress code
Limited English spoken
Long lines for some activities

Heaven on Earth.. Only the servadals over play their roles. People should be shown respect, most are nice but some can overplayed their role. But for the spiritual experience it's beyond words. Love it and miss it most.
Place for experiencing peace and love. Hub of modern gurukul - education for all
I have been coming to this place for many times with my family. Stayed here for about 10 days for this trip. There are some improvements to this place with regards to the devotee quarters. Now there are air-conditioned rooms available and hot water is available all the time. The place is as sublime and serene as ever. We had a wonderful stay.
I liked this location in particular because it says we can find peace here in the name, PRASHANTHI NILAYAM. Attending bhajanas, meditation experiences this place's good vibe.
Additionally, food will be served here at the lowest possible cost. North Indian, South Indian, and Western cuisine will all be offered. Accommodation will also be less expensive, costing only 400 INR per day.
Very nice place for spiritual trip but the sevadal are very rude and do not know how to serve people with kindness. If travelling alone, better take hotel from outside.
Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a wide variety of food as well for that price. A must try desert is the Tiramisu!!. I am definitely going back.
This hotel exceeded expectations. Approach roads are a bit narrow but excellent parking even for large cars. 5 minute walking distance to Ashram. Clean and spacious AC room; even all ceiling fans in the hotel were spic and span. Bathroom had shower g
