I recently had the privilege of visiting Prasanna Sri Subrahmanya temple, and it was a truly awe-inspiring experience. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of peace, spirituality, and devotion. The intricate carvings, vibrant colors, and meticulous attention to detail showcased the craftsmanship and artistic excellence of the temple. Every element, from the towering gopurams (ornate temple towers) to the beautifully adorned sanctum sanctorum, exuded a sense of grandeur and beauty. Spiritual Ambiance: Upon entering the temple premises, I immediately felt a sense of tranquility and serenity. The temple's serene atmosphere, accompanied by the rhythmic chants and devotional music, created a sacred space for reflection and introspection. It provided a sanctuary where visitors could connect with their inner selves and experience a profound sense of peace.

It's a little untidy outside the temple. Cos it's famous for Dakshina Kashi reputation. Its a must visit

Calm and moderately crowded temple. The premises has a baby feeding room which is quite thoughtful. The lunch served (a coupon has to be taken before hand) is quite sumptuous.

This is the main temple of Ramanathapura. Devotees come here to worship Subramanya Swamy , and yearly once there will be fair during shrashti (December) and it runs for 1 month. On the main day of fair, chariot is pulled around temple and every year before commencing the chariot, the eagle comes and flies around the chariot and after that only the chariot moves ( local beliefs). Every year lot of devotees come from all around the karanataka to worship the god . Devotees take bath in the holy kaveri river and visit the 4 temples.

Beautiful Place A must visit temple if you are in Karnataka, Excellent historical temple nicely maintained. After going inside temple one feels completely peaceful & Early morning the nature is so beautiful, it's a real bliss.

Great temple with lots of events throughout the year. The priests are courteous and perform pooja with great devotion and talk patiently. Parking could be tricky during peak festival times. Loved visiting the place.
