About food review Surabhi hotel appears to offer a better deal since their plate includes both vej and ilish fish for 250. But in Promode food section Vej thali- 70 Ilish- 250. Separate cost. So I would recommend to go Surbhi Hotel.

It's the best hotel for desi lunch.. The thali they serve is really awesome.. Awesome in the sence that you will feel better after eating.. It's not spicy or western type.. You will feel like eating at home.. You can have lunch over here on a daily basis and have no digestion problem.. The staff behavior is extremely gentle and helpful..

One of the good and budget friendly hotels in Tinsukia. Mr. Durga Borah is a good and responsible person. Rooms are nice with attached bathrooms and AC. Food quality needs improvement. (5/10)

One of the 3rd class hotel in Tinsukia. In single room they charged Rs 700/-, only one charging point and of course without TV. Food quality is also very poor in comparison with nearest hotel Promode Assam. Do think twice....

Had a special thali there...food was very tasty and fresh.

It's a budget hotel with nonAC single/double occupancy with per day charges ranging from 400-800 Rs. Rooms are small, with minimal furniture, TV set and indian style lat-bath. Hotel provides food on payment basis but menu is fixed each day, with not.many options. Hygiene is pretty poor as hotel is pretty old and still using old mattresses and toilets are not ventilated enough. In summers tinsukia humidity is very high make stay uncomfortable in this hotel.

Veg thali at Rs. 60, but the rice not cooked well.. It's an advice, please improve the quality of the items.. Unhappy with the experience
