Praia Da Oura , Majorda beach ,Goa - Hotel in Majorda, Gonsua - South Goa, India

Praia da oura is strategically located between Majorda and Betalbatim Beach..beach is hardly 5 min walking from hotel. However, location is very secluded and no other construction is nearby 100m, which may give chills to some people. Definitely not recommended to stay in off-season, we were only 3 guests throughout the property, so it was lonely for us. Wifi also does not work properly. However, other facilities like front desk experience was good, food was good, though they only serve limited items and only breakfast. You will get a fruit bowl with seasonal fruits, veg will get idli sambar, nonveg will get omelette. You can request to make something on request, if traveling in groups or staying on a business trip. Pool is big and clean. They don't have any indoor games or books for entertainment, so it is advisable that you bring yours along. Parking is ample so you can bring your own vehicle (which you will obviously need here). Rooms are cozy but beautiful and has a big balcony as well. All the fittings inside the room are premium. Beware of stray dogs on the street when walking outside, especially at night.

Thank you Anita and your Mother for the hospitality. I always wanted to stay towards the south side of GOA and luckily came across this resort while browsing internet. The pool size, the room i stayed in were very nice and well maintained and large in size. The breakfast was complimentary (except Juice) and quality and quantity was amazing. I had crab in Goan style, Squid ring, and several few beer by pool side and taste was superb. My Stay was very pleasant and would visit this place again whenever i come to goa. I stayed from 15th to 17th November 2023 with my wife and a son.

I had booked 1 room for my parents for 1 night stay. But they were not satisfied with the services. Although room was spacious, ac didnt work properly. In the name of breakfast only eggs, tea bread and fruits were available. Only few guests were there, in peak time of diwali vacation, hence the ambience was loomy. The only thing positive, was Majorda beach in the vicinity. All in all, it was my wrong decision to book such an hotel for my elderly parents , that too spending an amount of 7840 INR for 1 night stay.

Praia da Oura Resort Hotel is an amazing place to stay at. The property is just 3 minutes away from Majorda beach. The owner, Mrs. Maria, a Portuguese's granddaughter, with her kindness and politeness makes our stay so pleasant! She is always with a big smile and takes care of every detail to make the guests comfortable. By the way, she speaks Portuguese quite well. The rooms are spacious, with a beautiful and elegant architecture, sophisticated furniture and great interior design. The staff is always helpful and friendly. If you need to rent a car to drive around at a good price, just get in touch with Immanuel, at the reception of Praia da Oura Resort Hotel, he always has fair and good options for you. Right by the beach there's a restaurant called Mishmar Beach Shack, owned by Camilo and managed by the great Antonio. Antonio treats everyone like kings. He gives us the right suggestions about food, the beach and surrounding places, and he is such a friendly and kind person, that we don't want to go to any other Shack in that beach besides his. They have a diverse menu, delicious food, and the place is filled with joy and positive energy. Antonio always makes sure that we have a good spot right by the shore to see the sunset and enjoy the view of the sea. That is the place you wanna be when visiting South Goa, Majorda Beach and Utorda Beach. What we saw and experienced there is exactly what we described in detaisl to you above. So, coming to Goa, just enjoy, that is a wonderful place with great people.

Beautiful boutique hotel close to the serenic majorda beach. Very well maintained and family run. Great place to unwind. Rooms are in par with five star properties. Good swimming pool too.

We had an amazing stay at this boutique hotel in South Goa.The location,just a short walk from Majorda Beach ,was fantastic.The pool was lovely ,and the homely atmosohere made it feel like a second home.Special thanks to the owner,Mr and Mrs Alex and thier daughter, and the staff for their warm and welcoming hospitality:)

This hotel is ran by the most friendly and helpful family. It's in a lovely, quiet part of South Goa, yet close enough to shops, restaurants and so on. And of course the beach - it's literally a 5 minute walk to long, perfect, quiet beaches that have beautifully sunsets. The beach-shacks there have loungers, sun-umbrellas, and are happy to wait on you at the beach as you have the most relaxing time :-) As for the hotel rooms, they have a stylish, modern interior. All the equipment is new, modern and high quality. The showers are high-power / flow, in large walk-in glass shower rooms. The bedrooms are spacious (even compared to European hotels), return large, clean, comfortable beds. The linen is good cotton and changed every day. They have the best quality Japanese air-conditioning units that are whisper-quiet and very powerful and effective! The WiFi had good signal in my room, and by the pool. It had the inevitable occasional dropouts but that's the Goa telecom companies fault, not this hotel's. Another inevitable issue India suffers from is frequent power-cuts. But this hotel has their own backup generator! It automatically kicks in whenever needed so you aren't affected :-) Outside, the hotel had beautiful gardens and a lovely, cool, clear swimming pool. There were no mosquitos anywhere. The whole area was super clean and relaxing, and a real pleasure to be in. I visited a couple of other hotels in the area when I was there, (one was the Heritage that was much more expensive). They didn't compare for location, quality, or for friendliness and helpfulness. Nothing was any trouble for Praia da Ora: Arranging taxis, booking spa treatments, scooter hire, etc etc. I'm really looking forward to returning to Praia da Ora. I've travelled all over the world but my recent stay here was one of the most relaxing and comfortable I've ever had!

Superb! Quiet and relaxing place to stay in South Goa. Excellent clean rooms and lovely staff. Shower is just top and very comfy bed! Owners are amazing family who will help with anything you need. Only few mins walk to the beach with plenty of shaks with good food. Beach is just great to chill and soak up some energy. Swimming pool at the hotel is amazing. 100% recommend to anyone who just wants to have relaxing stress free holiday!
