Small but nice park for local children at Golaghat in Burdwan. Slips, merry go round and some Dhankis are there for children. Small park with no good equipment for children. Still the kids of this area come here to play and enjoy everyday afternoon. There is no entry fee. Free for all. But in Durga Puja, it changes into heaven. They make a theme for Durga Puja A big que aways there in Puja time. Many people all over the city as well as out of the city come here to view their theme. It very nicely decorated every year. Wheelchair can be Accessible easily in that time. Normal time, the gate not open. Kids enter here by side small gate where wheelchair can't be enter.
Burdwan as it always has been. It's nice, but be sure to adapt your expectations to suit a early-90s suburban Indian children's park. No fancy rides or safety measures here! Skinned knees and elbows... they build character.
The place is obviously too small to do any function but it is quite good for the children to play as there is not a little space for playing in our Golahat but in this little place how the Durga Puja is occurred is quite interesting! !!!
