In my case, it was not at all planned & got little bit late while coming back from Prabadgad. Hence we decided to stay. But If anyone is planning to stay, the ideal way is to inform hotel guys so they can take orders & prepare food.
This village is located around 1 hour of trekking from where you start. I got to know that they bring everything (Veggies, Meat, flour, rice etc etc.) from the base village while talking to the ladies who work in the hotel. It is not an easy job at all.
Food Quality & quantity is superb & they definitely deserve more than the general charge. We ordered for Non-veg meal & it was really delicious. It's not like a typical Thali, They'll refill your plate as you finish it OR till that time you ask them not to serve. The People are very cooperative & humble by nature.
They charge Rs.500/- per person which includes 1 Meal (Veg OR Non-veg), 1 Breakfast with Tea & accommodation charges (Usually Tent with 2 people occupancy).
Stay at this hotel got some magnificent views, especially in the evening & night. The recommendation would be to start the Trek in the morning (Around 9:30 am) You'll reach at the village in approx. 1 hour & 15 OR 30 mins. Take some rest here & confirm your stay with the ladies who work there, then you start your remaining trek for Kalavantin OR Prabalgad. Make sure you return back to the village by 5:00 pm in the evening. Have some tea breakfast & enjoy the peace with beautiful nature & wait for a delicious Dinner. The night stay becomes more beautiful with Camp-fire.
You can have food here breakfast, tea, lunch and dinner. Both veg and non veg served. Veg thali is Rs. 130/-. Overnight package is Rs. 500/- including stay in tent, dinner and breakfast. Owner keeps washrooms clean.
Good for night stay. But make sure car is not reachable to this place. We need to hike around half an hour to reach here.
We planned night trek to kalavantin and booked this hotel, they provide good service and they served home made food(veg/non-veg). The dinner is the fabulous experiencing village test. For sure you can visit this place for getting excellent experience.
Their food is not that much.. But k for in Hilly regions.... If we have Maggi or bun etc... They will cook and give... For that they asking cost but its too affordable.... Nice person in that hotel...
You can get food and water here..If any one want to stay at night they can stay here..Tents are available ..For foods, prices are reasonable ...Veg thali -100 Rs and non veg -140Rs.. if you are ordering something extra they will charge for that ...U can take the rest here.
Situated at very good point and at just half of the journey. People of this hotel was very hardworking. They will give you room in around 1500. We went in rainy season so Rooms were not clean and also no electricity but if you ask them for more rooms, they will provide you some inside prabal machi village which were better.
Nice hotel to rest before main trek..and nice food you will get everything like Pepsi coke Maggi veg and non veg food ect.....safe place to hang out with your friends and you will get tents on rent with bonfire....I have also uploaded Contact details must check .
