Panakkad Pookkoya Thangal Memorial Higher Secondary School (PPMHSS) Kottukkara is a private higher secondary school located in Kottukkara, Malappuram district, Kerala. It was founded in 1976 by the Nediyiruppu Muslim Educational Association. The school offers education from class 8 to class 12. It has 71 classes with a total strength of over 4200 students. The school has a well-equipped library, laboratories, and playgrounds. It also has a hostel for boys and girls. Initially the school had three divisions with 112 students. It now has 4000 students in 55 divisions. The higher secondary section started in 2000-2001 with three batches i.e. two Science (Biology) and one Humanities (Statistics). In 2002 it started three additional batches i.e. Computer science, Sociology and Commerce. At higher secondary level there are around 800 students. There is a strength of 150 staff. The school has won the overall championship in almost all extracurricular activities in the Malappuram Educational District.

And the first rank was from this school student. Teachers and students hard working for their school. Now the headmaster is Rasak sir and Principal is Maajeed sir. Khassim was chosen for the State Level Award for the best Teacher in 1996. K.P. Ahammed (Head Master) received National Award for the teachers with excellent and dedicated service. In science fair the school won the credit of being the best science school at state level in 2000. In 2003, the school won overall championships in Malappuram Education District fair for Science, Mathematics and Social Science. The students got prizes in the South Indian Science Fair held in Shimogo, Salem, Pondicheery.. Students won at the National Science Fair in Ahamadabad, Hyderabad, Haryana and Chennai.

Pannakad pookkoya thangal memorial higher secondary school(ppmhss) is a well known school all over the kerala and even beyond. All most 1500 students completes sslc every year. Not to mention, there is almost 4500 students in an academic year from 8th to sslc. 71 high tech smart class rooms. Beyond text books and tests, better practical sources like science lab, mathematics lab, I.T lab, and hundreds of programmes are too conducted for the better experience and interest. Has a great image at sports and arts too. And the results are a way more awesome.

Great School and the best one in this locality. Performing well in curricular and extra curricular activities. Teachers are dedicated and hardworking. Carrier development classes conducted here give students adequate information about the carrier options and help them to choose the most suited one for them. In short This school "gives wings to fly".

One of the best schools in our state. They have put their signature in all fields... sports, arts, science fairs..... And the results they made.... Its unbelievable. Being a part of this great tradition is something which I can never explain. The PPMHSS kingdom...

Don't know the history of this school, but during Covid days it was felt horrible! my son has gone to attend KEAM exam at this school, told they are not providing soap at wash area and invigilator of his classroom was using sanitizer of the candidate who was attending the exam!
