Poshettihalli Falls & Trekking Place - Tourist attraction in Nallakadirenahalli - Chikkaballapura, India

Place is just okay. There is no water fall in the month of July. It's average picnic spot.

The Srinivas Sagar Dam is right opposite to SRI Lakshmi Venkateshwara temple. The temple ambience is pleasant however in and around is not maintained well. You can see trash and litter around the temple and parking area. The view from the dam is beautiful. I am sure it will be spectacular once it rains.

This is a resevoir, if it fills up, the falls would be there. When we went it was all dry. Locals mostly speak only kannada, we tried to ask them in Hindi and English, if the waterfalls are dry. They could not tell anything, they were unaware of the name itself. View of the Dam is good. Dont expect waterfalls unless its rainy season. The temples close to this area are still under construction.

The place is good to visit during the rainy season. If you visit in summer only you can see the temple and surrounding areas.

Great place to go for a morning bike drive. Refreshing place . A small dam built on river penneru with a good scenic and Panasonic view. A dip in the water coming down the dam is a wow experience and to die for !! A small caution - ground leading to the fall is very slippery and needs careful and guided walk for children and elders . No good hotels nearby and hence plan accordingly .

Visited on 3rd Sep'22, this place was a good find and a perfect one for spending half a day, ideally the second half, thereafter round up by watching the sunset and enjoying the fabulous views of the scenic (Srinivasa Sagar) reservoir. Liked the beauty of the reservoir more than the (man-made) waterfall. Kids will definitely enjoy rolling and splashing on the water.

A secluded place. Falls and temple near by. Perfect place for picnic with family/friends. Even th reservoir is worth visiting. Water is not deep.

I have been to this place on May 13th 2023 obviously not expecting much water in the lake itself. But good for early morning views and cool Breeze if you are someone who loves to spend time with urself plan for this place along with Avala betta and Isha foundation Bangalore this could be a day trip near chikballapur. Additionally on the way you see a Hanuman temple built by adichunchanagiri trust a very beautiful and calm place. Must visit.
