POP 84712 Heritage Hotel - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

I, with my family,four members in total stayed at Heritage Hotel, Shillong, Meghalaya, India from November 08,2023 to November 11,2023.It stands at the heart of the city. The rooms are truly spacious, very clean, well-maintained. The beds are really neat and clean and milky white without any bad smell. The toilets with active hot water system are of A-one standard. Above all, all the staff are really friendly with good manners and always at your service. Friends, you can avail yourselves of the beautiful hospitality of Hotel Heritage, Shillong.

The rating is only for location. There is no in-house kitchen. There is no backup in case or power cut. The room is very small like a pigeon coup and is poorly maintained and sheets and towels appear ro be unwashed as they smelled bad. The fan was missing a regulator. The room did not have bulbs in the wall light fittings. The mirror was stained and broken in our room. There is no phone to call reception for room service. The staff does not have knowledge of english or hindi so its difficult to communicate requirements to the staff. Disappointed.

I would give less than 1 star. The rates are too high. 4000 for a night and the room is of trash quality. The washroom is so bad quality. No geyser, no fan regulator, fungus on the walls. There are many better clean and fancy hotels beside this one with same rates. We booked for 3 nights, but spending 1 night is also difficult. We are moving to hotel next to it, way better. We are losing money as they don't refund. So a big NO to this hotel. Never book here.

One Night for a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed we paid 4000. Seems is bit too much but location is right in the centre of shillong, so it seems reasonable. They do not have in house restaurant, though they can arrange food from outside, but we preferred to get ourselves. Room were spacious, bathroom was spacious enough. Basic toiletries were missing. No complimentary breakfast ofc. Though whole room was cleaned properly, bed mattress were pretty bad, and blankets were seemed over used. Took online payment, when we said we don't have cash. If you afford it, its one of the good option in Police Bazaar.

Not worth 4000 per night. Smelly and Congested rooms. We just checked in, kept our luggage and going out to search better Hotel. No network, I am giving this review from outside.

Absolutely atrocious service for the price . The building is in tatters and no heating in bathrooms nor any heaters Available. No lift either so if you have anyone who can't climb stairs it's definitely not recommended.

We stayed for 2night.Stuff behaviour is very friendly. Hotel room size is good.Bathroom is clean..but toilet is not so good.. location is very nice. located in Shillong center point. You can get taxi for ride , mall, shopping center or you walk, street for everything.. Overall its nice to stay..

Hotel Heritage is located near Police Bazar in Shillong. The location is ideal for travelers. Rooms are well equipped with necessary conveniences, good view from rooms. Staffs are courteous, goof room service. The Hotel is well maintained and well decorated. Good for stay.
