A nice and beautiful place which is unknown from most of the people. The place is situated on an inner area after a few kilometres from the kuthiran tunnel. The entry to this place is actually restricted by the forest department there was a board mentioning the same. The starting point to this area is actually in a resident area. And the water coming from the mountain top then forms a canal and flows through the resident area. While going by there are few spots where we can see small small water falls. If you are going after rain it will be more beautiful and risky too.
Amazing experience. Mansoon season is good to visit.
With a little hike you can reach the waterfall. If you could climb further you can experience the big falls. Worth visiting but without littering the place. Even now lot of bottles and plastics there.
Our beautiful untouched natural resources are ruined by this bainless people.
Worth visit place.. Mostly non polluted area.. Natures beauty to unlimited.. Every one will love the beauty of this place for no doubt.. Small hiking kinda experience is there.. Want to walk through water too.. Never miss the beauty of the place. No such wastes are there.. Since it is not known much.. Anyway all travelers keep the place tidy.
Very nice place to visit with your friends and family.
NICE Time with Nature
Adventurous place
Less explored
The journey itself is an excitement for those who are interested in an adventure trip. The best to go in a rainy season. The problem is the path towards the falls is bushy and not maintained. Poovanchira is 18kms from Thrissur and 2kms from Chuvanamannu
The place is really good for some fresh plants, seeds, etc.
Almost all sort of flowers, and plants are available here. Even seasonal items are also available.
Parking is available in front of this Gardens, there's a restaurant next to this place.
