POOTHALI HOMESTAY - Home Stay in Nileshwar - Kasaragod, India

Very beautiful house specially 1st floor area. Hosts were very kind, served us delicious food. Gave sufficient information to explore Bekal. Also the place is clean and well maintained. The interiors need a special mention as well.

We visited Poothali Homestay in Aug 2023, for 3 days with our 4 year old daughter for a short vacation. It turned out to be one of the best decisions this year. The location is beautifully placed in Kasargod - 1 hour away from the railway station. Its serene and so peaceful and most importantly felt like home within the 1st day of stay itself. The caretaker - Sunita is very caring and took care of all our needs. The owner of this place Mr. Manoj was very cooperative and helped us out whenever we needed. The room we got was slightly smaller - considering the 3 of us, but thats a small hitch we could overlook. The views from Poothali are paddy fields and coconut trees and I could just spend hours looking at them. We really enjoyed our stay there and plan to return next year again!

Great stay, amazing food, superb location, and above all, the warmest hospitality that you can ask for is what would be a summary of Poothali Homestay. It feels like a home away from home. A quaint village setup, a nearby beach, greenery all around, and smiling faces everywhere you go, make it a place you want to go back to. Manoj, the owner was very helpful in providing all the details, and he also was in touch regularly to make sure that everything was going smooth. He also provided us with a day-wise itinerary. Manoj's sis, Sunitha, who manages the property, made sure that every detail was taken care of. Sunitha's kids also made sure that our son was engaged and involved. The food she prepared was lip-smackingly good with the authentic taste that you just crave for after you return back from vacation. The hospitality is genuine and warm, the rooms were clean, there was ample parking space, the home stay has a lot of open spaces inside, hot water round the clock, help a call away, and peace and silence. Definitely looking forward to going back there again.

Spent a couple of days at Poothali homestay,Had a pleasant happy experience. I liked the feel of the homestay, amazing hosts/People, simple-nourishing-yummy food. They helped us with the itenary and guided us throughout. Carried a lot of memories. Strongly recommend exploring this place.

An amazing homely stay and the villa is a perfect blend of old traditional concepts and with modern amenities. The collection of items in this villa is spellbound. The hosts, Sunita in particular, does ensure the guests are comfortable and the food prepared is real authentic, tasty and finger licking mallu dishes!! Manoj is very helpful and gives proper guidance as per your interests and time factor. A homestay which will definitely give a huge sense of satisfaction and I am sure whoever visits this place with return back with bundles of memories.

Very peaceful, aesthetic and clean property. Absolutely delicious home cooked meals. Very warm care taker. The beach is a 20-25mim walk away. Very quaint quiet location. We had a rejuvenating time.

It was really an awesome place. We stayed there from May 31st - June 2. The place was really neat. They welcomed us very well. The food provided to us was authentic kerala food. We really enjoyed the food. Now I started enjoying kerala style restaurants in Bangalore. Happy to meet such kind of nice persons in my life. The care taker was very friendly and interaction with them was awesome. Their kids were also there helping us with places to visit and eat. The little one looks very matured when talking. When we went we were the only one staying in the house. So the entire house is ours. Enjoyed beach in the evening. On the whole enjoyed three days stay and did not think anything about my profession during the stay. I would recommend this place.

Hanna here frm Chennai.. i randomly came across this beautiful homestay and started enquiring and finally visited this place this September 2023 .. as mentioned in Instagram profile it was indeed a beautiful place , stay was calm n serene.. rooms were neat n clean..!! It was such a bliss to stay in middle of paddy fields were all u can hear is birds chirping it was a perfect get away from city life..!! Care takare Sunitha chechi was kind ,humble and welcoming and all the Food items were top notch..!! I shd definitely mention abt the Auto chetta Sasi who was recommended by homestay itself he was very concerned n caring and took us to all nearby places .. Manoj chettan was coordinating with us and kept checking about our whereabouts and was very kinda and helpful.. since it was my first visit to North Kerala and I went alone with my mom I was kinda doubtful but it was a indeed a memorable trip for us and we njoyed each and every moment there.. I would definitely recommend Poothali Homestay to my friends and family.. !!
