Probably one of the MOST AUTHENTIC AND LEAST COMMERCIAL Ayurvedic hospitals in Kerala! Truly an amazing experience of total detoxification, internal cleansing and purification of the body! Very homely & green environment, total personal care and an authentic ayurveda experience... The two key doctors - Dr. Aparna (Chief Practitioner) as well as Dr.Arathy along with the maestro Dr.Devan(who comes every Tuesday) are such genuine & involved people and they truly believe in ensuring that anyone who checks into the hospital goes back hale & hearty! All the oils and all other medicines that you consume are ALL made locally, personally supervised by Poomully personnel and this is SO important for any authentic Ayurveda treatment. Food is very basic as expected (you can have as much you want) but it is almost temple cooking and of very good quality. You will slowly acquire the taste and some of the dishes are delicious. The rooms are well appointed, clean & well serviced. Most importantly, from a financial perspective, everything is in black & white and there are no hidden costs. Lastly, since the entire atmosphere does NOT feel like a hospital, every night after dinner, all the patients get together in the verandah and either talk or sing or have some fun together (SO VALUABLE for speeding the healing process). For a true, authentic & LIFE CHANGING ayurveda experience, I strongly recommend Poomully Mana, Nagalassery, Palakkad. You will NOT regret it! BEWARE: They are VERY strict about all procedures, medication, food etc. So, if someone is not able to adhere to these strictures, do not check in. They will politely ask you to leave

As the name suggests, its not a treatment center, but feels home with the ambiance surrounded by nature. Any treatment will not be cured only by medicines, but the major part lies with your own mind, people around and the environment around the patients. In that way this is the right place for any treatment. Unlike allopathy, you cannot expect a super fast cure, but here the cure is slow and permanent. Slow and steady always wins the race :D :D. Staffs here are not just friendly, but they treat us like FAMILY. Regular cleaning, on time treatment and food, fresh preparation of medicines, regular inquiry on how we feel physically as well mentally. You feel completely new after rejuvenation. I am extremely grateful to the entire team of Poomully Mana for the excellent support extended to me during my treatment. I appreciate the simplicity ,courteous attitude and interaction of the doctors and staff of Poomully Mana .I have been to other reputed Ayurvedic treatment centres but this centre is undoubtedly one of its kind.I could feel the benefits of the treatment with in a few days itself . The food was simple ,healthy and nutritious and exactly what a patient would require while going through treatment .The accomodation is clean and comfortable .The most interesting part was that I felt really attended with authentic ayurvedic medicines, massages and food.The ambience is very relaxing and beautiful.I highly recommend this Ayurvedic centre to everyone who wants to relax and rejuvenate their body and skin!
