This is not at all a hostel...They have moved this hostel 5 years ago..There is no hostel in this place
This is a bitter experience which I feel should be shared.....I had looked up this hostel for my niece a month ago. The hostel incharge , a lady compelled us to block a slot by paying a token advance of Rs.1000.00 which she promised will be refunded if we cancel our booking within 3 days from the date of paying advance. Now on seeing the room available and the cramped way the beds are laid out we had our initial doubts but still we paid the token advance since the owner said it was refundable. The very next day we had decided that we are not going to go for the booking in this hostel since we were not comfortable as there was less circulation of fresh air. My niece who was staying in another hostel met the owner lady and asked for the refund for which she asked her to come back in a couple of days. When contacted after a couple of days the owner dragged on for a week more and on continous follow up the owner started being rude and stopped picking up calls. This was really surprising because a person running a hostel for Ladies should have the decency to talk properly when queried. Lucky we took a decision on not staying in the hostel. When contacted again and again she reluctantly agreed to pay half the advance amount for which she dragged for one more week and paid it with scorn. This sort of behaviour by a management in a hostel for women is highly deplorable and I suggest thinking twice before going to this hostel
I was totally new to this city..rather than staying in rented apartment i decided to stay in hostel for safety reasons. Couple was very helpful..they also took extra care for my health as I am allergic to few foods..I have seen lady keep person track of all girls wellbeing..some girls are staying years long. I felt like I made one family friend in Chennai. Due to some reason I have to get transfer to BLR and couple agreed to refund my money on short notice. It was comfortable experience so far.
The owner and the manager did a fraud of 10, 300 rs. Please careful while booking.
Very nice brand new hostel for ladies. Centrally located with secured atmosphere. I strongly recommends to the young ladies coming to Chennai for employment.
Poor maintenance, unhygienic toilets, worst food inspite of these things tooo expensive for the services they give
