Poomala Dam - Tourist attraction in Killannur - Thrissur, India

Very small dam. Nothing much to see. For sure, the calm and windy ambiance gives immense feel . Not so crowded. Looks very beautiful while raining. Roads leading to the dam is too small. No traffic at all.

Poomala is a untouched scenic location in Thrissur. This dam is situated about 15km from Thrissur city in Kerala. Travellers can enjoy the boat rides at Poomala Boat House. This is a small facility and there wasn't much crowd. So limit your expectations

Poomala Dam is around 12km fro Thrissur City. Its a Getaway spot fron the city but still very under develop. There is a small park, some seating areas and boat ride. You can enjoy the view of Dam. There is lot of potential for development and some proposals are being worked on.

Very nice greenery calm place ! Nice air, but need some maintenance to improve and can be effective for recreations. But to visit this place is wonderful. JESUS made it wonderfully

It is a small dam site located close to the town of Thrissur...It is a beautiful place...There is a small children's park nearby ....It is a clean space that is not too crowded...This is a great place for kids and family ...
