Ponnani Beach - Tourist attraction in Ponnani - Malappuram, India

I simply love this cool, serene, sleepy beach town. Food is simply amazing, people are honest, gentle and soft-spoken, environment is pure and healthy, beaches are clean with clean waters. The Municipality can do better, but overall manageable as compared to other bigger seaside cities in the country. Easy distance from my residence, so I can go in the morning and be back in the evening before dark and yet have loads of fun.

Ponnani Beach is a serene coastal gem that offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The beach's unspoiled beauty is its greatest asset, with soft golden sands gently caressed by the Arabian Sea's clear blue waters. The swaying palm trees and gentle sea breeze create a soothing ambiance, making it a perfect destination for those seeking solace. While Ponnani Beach may lack the commercialization and amenities of more famous beach destinations, its simplicity and natural beauty are its charm. Ponnani Beach has improved since my last visit. The cleanliness is noticeable and the sunset views remain unbeatable. However, there's room for growth with the addition of a small park, better lighting, and more activities. The recent monsoon left behind plastic waste on the beach, which is concerning. Also, parking continues to be a challenge. Overall, a great spot but some areas need attention.

Ponnani beach have good potential to become a top tourist destination in Kerala. Need to build facilities like walkway, seating arrangements, night lamps etc to attract more visitors to the beach. Above all keep the beach and vicinity area neat & clean.

The scenery was good. But the beach has many limitations with facility and hygiene and maintenance. Need improvement in over all facilities outdoor activities and clean beach mission with strict rules and regulations.
