Driving part is fun.... As all mentioned 22 curves... I visited this place in Oct... Slight rainy.. After parking if u want to go to the top part u have to walk atleast 20 min.... That's the hard part.... Nothing much just sit and relax... Enjoy the cool breeze

A very nice place to spend a day with friends and family. The area is spread widely thus congestion can be avoided. Cool breeze is there almost everytime. Timing is from 8am till 4pm for access. Further there is option for trek as well the largest (Varayadumotta Varayadumotta) is 12hours trek where you to report there before 7.30 near the check post below. The other treks are Maruthwamala and Manchala trek which has 7.30am reporting time. Smallest is Seethatheertham which can be done once you reach ponmudi top.

Ponmudi upper sanatorium.... A nice place to visit with your family and friends... To most view was just awesome.... Public transport facilities are available there... If you want a better experience , you should prefer a better climate or correct season..

SUPER NATURE experience.. The place was clear while we reach there.. With in 3to 4 mins the climate changed and there was full of fog and mist.. And that too was an experience.. Small trekking, ample space for car bus and bike parking,

Always loved the riding experience this place has to offer. The entry fee is about 50 per person. Amazing place to visit with friends or family. Roads used to be great. Recently there were so many works being done, so not so great at some places. Beware of KSRTC on every hairpin and turns.
