Very popular market in Trichy. Small scale shoppers Vegetables, Plants, Dresses, non-veg sales are available here. Pet colour fishes are very low in price. And multiple pets in one place for sale. Really I loved it. It's a market so it's a little crowded otherwise a good place for a weekend time passing and shopping.

It's a only Sunday market. They sell vegetables, meat, pets, pots, live fishes and lot more. Prices are reasonable.

This place functions only on Sundays. You can get everything from groceries to furnitures. Aquariums, birds and other pet shops. Plant saplings and seeds and meat shops. Household accessories and etc. Try to get there as early as 9:30AM to purchase effectively. The later you go the quality of the products will go down. Overall a wonderful place to spend your sunday morning.
From Chathiram Bus stand I took govt bus and reached there Around 10.30am. visited many shops for vegetables, groceries, house hold items, etc.. I came here to purchase pet birds and food items for birds. Seen many pet bird shops. Bought the cage accessories and food items. Drink sugarcane juice and lime soda. Saw many colourful fishes. Nice place. We can come along with whole family.
Worth place to buy pets fruits vegetables fishes utensils plastic things etc... All in one place. This market runs on Sunday only. Timing 8.30 AM to 7.00PM. You can reach this place by Trichy to Thanjavur train. You can get down in manjathidal station and walks by 500m to reach market. You can buy fresh vegetables, fruits, variety for fishes to eat, crab, squids, prawns etc. You can get meat, country chicken, country chicken eggs at reasonable rates. For pet lovers it definitely a great place to look and buy variety of birds, dogs, fish, rabbits etc. Plenty of parking space all around the market. Rose milk and sugarcane juice are my favourite.
