Polo forest - Adventure Sports Center in Vijayanagar, Bandhana - Sabar Kantha, India

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Polo Forest, and it was an incredible experience. The lush greenery and serene atmosphere of Polo Forest make it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The ancient ruins and temples hidden within the forest are a treasure trove of history and culture. Exploring these sites was not only educational but also spiritually enriching. The forest trails are well-marked and provide a great opportunity for hiking and nature enthusiasts. The sight of pristine lakes and the sound of chirping birds truly reconnect you with nature. The local cuisine at nearby eateries was a delightful surprise. I highly recommend trying the local dishes for a taste of authentic Gujarati flavors. The hospitality of the local people is heartwarming, and their willingness to share stories and insights about the forest's history added an extra layer of charm to the trip. Polo Forest is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. I can't wait to visit again and explore even more of its beauty and history. If you're looking for a peaceful and culturally rich escape, Polo Forest should be at the top of your list.

It is an Excellent place for those who wants to connect with Nature. We had a great fun doing trekking while climbing up the mountain as well as enjoying in the shallow river water. However, there is no Parking Management and also no Directions due to which finding major attractions becomes difficult. Also, make sure you apply enough sunscreen otherwise you will end up getting sunburn.

I would suggest visiting this place on weekdays. On weekends they wouldn't allow private vehicles inside and you should rent an E-rickshaw it costs 500Rs for 5persons. If you are good at bargaining then it's good for you. And main ancient Jain temple site was closed by the government. So you wouldn't be able to see these places on weekends. In August and especially at weekends this place is so crowded.

Super place to visit in monsoon. Amazing and beautiful place where one can enjoy the beauty of nature and relax from the all the worries. I like the river which is in between the walking around and it was the most fabulous experience. One should visit this place once in monsoon.

Much hyped place. Sun temple is there but entry is restricted. Jain temple also there but not permitted to go there. One shiva temple is there but in very bad condition. Many shops are there where you can enjoy maggi, sweetcorn, lemonade etc. One time visit only

Osam place's best visit time is monsoons super cool atmosphere and parking area to big If you like tracking then this is for a good place for that There is no extra charge, no ticket here

A fun place to visit. Perfect for one day. It's 150km away from Ahmedabad. The road in between is good enough. There is no ticket for anything. There are basically two places to visit in Polo forest: 1. Harnav Dam: Vehicles are not allowed inside the gate of the dam. You Just park outside and walk towards the dam (There is no parking facility but it is safe to park around). You will witness a beautiful view at the dam. 2. The Forest: 10 min away from Dam. No restaurant around however maggie, packets, havmor etc are there. In the forest, there's upward trekking for like 1.5H walking. There is a small swimming pool type lake (water comes from harnav dam). The water is clean enough to swim so if you want to swim, take extra clothes. (I did a bath and it was enjoyable). It's basically a half day trekking in the polo forest plus an hour in a dam. So it will cover your whole day including Travel. There is no food inside the forest so take water and refreshment as per your need. It's purely a monsoon place. 5 rating from me. Attached some photos and vids for your reference.

We visited this place during monsoon days. You get a chance to look at nature with different eye once you visit this Forest. The beautiful thing is that there is no network only nature. Water, trees, birds and rain makes a beautiful surrounding of this place. You will enjoy this place in monsoon. Do visit if you got chance to visit in rainy day.
