Large and warm Masjid. Toilets are not good and not adequate. Also wudu khana is small but manageable. The parking hall is big and accommodates a lot of people. In Jummah the 1st floor also gets filled. Both hanafi and ahle hadis are accepted. There are food places outside. It is 300-400M away from the central police bazaar more. I stayed 100 M away at the popular hotel.
I was thinking about searching for masjid. We've reached Police Bajar after Asor and were eating in restaurant named Hotel Savera. Suddenly heard the beautiful sound of Adhaan and I was very happy about this. Completed Salatul Magrib there. Found Muslims from Bangladesh there who were also visiting. This masjid is not so beautiful but it's a center for Muslims. The Adhaan was by speaker and at a lower sound compared to Bangladesh. Not satisfied with the Indian Muslims. We love them, we have a feelings for them. But they are enjoying the Indian nationalism. They are not having a world view. It's my view that Bangladeshi Muslims are better than Indian Muslims in case of feelings for Muslim brothers around the world.
Mashallah location is very convenient for travellers as it's very near to railway station of Guwahati in paltanbajaar

Good Mosque. Spacious. Well arrangement for prayer, ablution, wash room. Some floors are under reconstruction for development. Not sure about women corner.
Good market for tourists. Almost all items r available from beer to basket, chicken to momos with bargains.
Infrastructure and management are superb. The mosque is surrounded by many hotels and restaurants. West to it there is one muslim hotel which provides quality food with affordable price.
