Pohu- garh was the royal zoo of the Ahoms when they made Sivasagar their capital. A beautiful place with scenic beauty with lakes of sparkling water where the migratory birds make a sojourn every year. Not very well known among locals, this place is a must- visit in Sivasagar. Best time of the year to visit this place is Dec-Feb when it is full of migratory birds.
