Pogila waterfalls - Tourist attraction in Pogilla - Nalgonda, India

One of the best trekking places around Hyderabad one can visit , really nice place but not a cake walk trek , it is better if you reach there by afternoon if not then it will be a difficult task to reach there in evening because after sunsets it is a bit dangerous place with wild animals like tigers,bears and snakes etc because it comes under Amrabad tiger reserve. From Village to waterfall it is not easy to reach there because no clear cut way and it is better to take some villegers help to reach , and for families children elderly women and men it is difficult. And one have to carry their own food and water bottles with them because there isn't much available in this tribal hamlet.

Dont listen to anyof the reviews trust me tyere is nothing to see no waterfalls and mostly not even safe with family i mean no waterfalls at all u habe to go trek down which is like hell risky

To reach this falls u need to climb down the falls,the only way to reach the falls is to decent from top of the falls.Carry your own food and fuel their will no stalls and fuel station also carry cash there will no signals when u reach there and the road u use to reach the falls is 80% full of off-road. Ideal time to visit is start as early as possible in the morning from vizag colony it is around 25kms this takes u atleast 3hrs to reach there. Must place to visit in your life time

Very beautiful place to visit ,we have to reach pogilla village from mallepalli to chinna munigal to kacharajupally to kambhalapally to pogilla,,,from pogilla village we have to walk for 1km to reach water falls,from their we have to trek down to see this amazing water falls,be careful while trekking. Note : their is vizag colony near chinna munigal ,their we can go for boating and also fish fry is famous ,if we order they will cook and give to us immediately.

The beauty of nature is a feast for the eyes. Here you can see the position of the river Krishna. The valley is very deep.

1) drive to this place is adventurous with a bit of small ghats drives. 2) trek about 2 km to reach the top of the falls through fields. 3) from the top, trek down to reach the place where we can take bath. Water force is less now and the place where we can take bath is a bit risky, slippery etc.. 4) there are many honey combs in the top of the falls. We were a group of 4 and we're chased for almost more a km by Bees and we're stung multiple time. So this is an important thing to consider. Pls take care while taking pics in the top, don't sit down on the edge or in crevasses for a pic without knowing what's down there. Bottomline- place is scenic and treking spots are good,not a place to actually take a bath. Don't take valuable belonging as u may have to run fast incase chases u. If some one found my shades and slippers which is lost during chasing pls dm me.

Such a great place. My friend suggested this place and we went there to experience the absolute best of nature. The journey, the trek, the waterfalls, the ghat roads and the hills. The attraction here is a lovely waterfall. At one point, I was so amazed that I was standing above the waterfall. So, we climbed down the mountain to reach the waterfall and voila!, heaven. So far away from any mechanical noises and all I could hear was the sound of nature. And also the way up here was such a great experience (ghat road driving). I love to drive on rough roads. 150 kms away from Hyderabad, Pogilla is a great place to have a fun one day trek.

Bit dusty n ghat road's but you'll forget all stress when you reach here.. be careful with honeybees Combs are under rock's they may attack any time..
