PodStop - Backpacker Hostel in New Delhi - South, India

Decent property for a 1 hostel stay. Have stayed at hostels before, especially backpackers. This ranks at the bottom in my list. I was hoping the individual rooms that they offer would be a better choice than the dormitories. I was wrong. The rooms aren't maintained well, they smell bad (probably because of poor ventilation. However the AC worked. The bathroom in the individual room has so many issues. The common space is good. Prefer dormitories over individual rooms. They looked like value for money to me. Also, my neighbours were noisy

There was a problem with the USB socket in my capsule, the attendant rather asked me to change the capsule in stead of fixing it. There too the fan was too small to cool the capsule; complained, but didn't change it. The lockers are not easy to pull and lock. Otherwise such capsule hotels have a high potential with solo travellers who might make friends with absolute strangers in a different time zone.

Don't go on the reviews, most of them are fake which I witnessed myself when I was listening the owner's conversation. It's a very misbehaving hostel, will force you to do unnecessary stuff also. Blackmails you. So please understanding what am trying to convey. Don't go for this hostel, not at all recommended and not safe to visit, even the hostel is not clean. This hostel was operated by someone else professional, now it's under some uneducated uncles who are just there to loot you. So be careful

This hostel surprised me with good space and vibes . The people managing this,staff is so overwhelming and helpful. Being a solo girl traveller I had certain security issues but the staff insured me safety and proved it well. Room was not good and the gezger didn't work. Room had some bad smell due to poor ventilation. I will recommend you dormatoiry over single room. They provide kitchen and guest room area which was very good. Worth for money if you book dormatoiry.

Good place to stay if you're a working person, I stayed in their dormitory and it's good enough. You get separate space for cooking (the utensils are not enough may be) where you'll get enough water n gas and a few spices for your quick meal. The sit-out area on the Terrace is good for evening meeting.

Rooms was big enough to accommodate two people with provided extra place, rooftop space was very we'll decorated for hangouts. Overall amazing experience!

They booked room then kicked us out three hours later because someone booked it for 15 days. Room was not clean and there were lizards and ants. Positive reviews are fake. Don't stay here.
