First of all, do not confuse the Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary or Deer Breeding centre with Pocharam Park. Pocharam park is very small, and here you get the tickets for Safari ride into Deer Breeding Centre or Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary. Within this park itself there is not much to do or see. There is a office building and some space for Safari vehicle, they have only 1. There is no parking space and you need park your car outside beside the road. There is a ticket for this park Rs 20/- for adults and Rs 10/- for Kids (they say it is for environment education; did not understand what it is for in real scenario). However, if you choose go for safari within Pocharam Wildlife or Deer Breeding centre, its Rs 100 for Adults and Rs 50 for Kids. Beware of Monkeys in this park, they try to steal your bags and any packets. Overall, I feel this place can be improved and modified for attracting more visitors. I will write review for Deer Breeding or Pocharam Wildife Separately.
Nice place for a weekend long drive. Roads are very good till the sanctuary. They have a deer breeding center as well. If you want to take your car inside the trail then it's 100 rupees per person inside the car and not per car. The trail is 5 km long kachha road and it is well marked with distance post. Should go there during winter and rainy season when there will be greenery. Currently all trees have shed their leaves so not much to see. And during summer it's hot too. You can see peacocks, deers and monkeys in the trail. Once you are out of the trail then you can go another km to the Pocharam lake to watch birds. During summer less water so not much to see.
It was a nice safari( Jan 16 2022) , we can drive in our own . We saw peacock , nigai, deers and soo many birds.

very good area children can enjoy a lot by playing in park and watching deers and also a nice area to to have food with family
Good for kids but the park need renovation as most of the slides are broken. Could be a good fun spot if managed properly. You need to be careful with the Monkeys around while eating.
The place is green and scenic. Deers are easily visible. Facilities could be better but still okay. The place misses a good eatery nearby. Have to go to city to find a good one. There is a kids play area with swings, burma bridges which kids love and enjoy. It's a great place to spend a couple of good hours. A good drive from Hyderabad..
