Pobitora Village Eco Camp - Resort hotel in Kalshilapar - Marigaon, India

We visited this place with friends and family on 26th December 2019. This is a small nice camp site with 4 bamboo cottages with the minimum basic amenities. You can relax the whole day enjoying the village life of Pobitora. There is a natural rock site too. The owner and the staff are nice and tried to help you as per your request. The food is so nice and homely. They also arranged bonfire for us with a minimum charge. Overall we enjoyed the stay. But, there's still scope for improvement.

Champak's place is very comfortable for a traveller and he is very welcoming too. He and his brother Rongtu helped us with all the bookings for the safaris, dolphin sighting boat ride exclusively for us. The bonfire and outdoor experience at his place was very good. He is also very knowledgeable about wildlife and surroundings. His restaurant Sumsum on the main road serves tasty food too.

I was expecting an average service by seeing and reading everyone's review. But I got an amazing experience when I stay there for only one night. Excellent service. The staff and the receptionist is very friendly. Place is quite nice and fill with natural beauty. And the pork... Aaahhhhh..... Price is also low as compared to other Resort near the area. Even they will give discount to asmiiyyaa people... asmiiyyaa maanuh g'le teoNloke bhut bhaal paayy aar'u bhut friendly hyy... They even arrange Elephant Safari for us without any extra fees. The night was awesome... And Love to Rantu Da r'nnttu daa

We were three friends & went there in the month of November. It was very relaxing there. The owner is very humble & cooperative. He only arranged the elephant safari for us. The cottages are good and food offered is also fine.

A nice place for weekend getaways or any other vacations. Food is good and the environment is very calm. Behavior is professional. Value for money. Tents are available during winter. However, at this point the Google Map location is little off, so call the owner is you have issues in driving to the place. He'll send you a pin in WhatsApp.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of food provided there. They provide us sour daal with rice, most probably leftover from previous day. When asked they told that they mix lemon with daal.Now, who did this even without asking? Few points to remember : 1. No free drinkable water. Only bottled water available. 2. 500 rs for bonfire, only six small sticks provided. 3. Located in the middle of nowhere, far from pobitora, while many stellar resorts available near the entrance of pobitora. 4.only two teenager employees manage whole resort, so, service is substandard. We have to wake them up in the morning so that we they prepare breakfast and we can go to safari.

We stayed there for one night with four families, we thoroughly enjoyed the time and sply the hospitality of Mr. Champak and his brother and team. The wooden cottages and the campfire was very memorable.A complete different experience than regular hitels. Kids liked it and the elephant ride and keep Safari at Pobitora national park are also nice.worth trying.

Located outskirts of pobitora! Not visible from main road but well make a stay there! There's cottage with toilets available, camping huts are available. Located beneath the hills and near paddy fields, morning will call you with greenery! Food is awesome!
